If you are looking for somewhere a little less "hotel" and with the charm of Paso, this is your place. Steve has an amazing sense of style and an amazing design eye and it's reflected in every detail. Vintage pieces - from the art work to the furniture - are everywhere and there not from Grandmas house. They are carefully selected from many places around the world. And the bedding on the beds is over the top gorgeous! Thank you Steve for being an amazing host - I'll be staying with you again next time I'm in Paso! Allison

I had such an amazing stay here! The hosts were excellent and very helpful. It was clean and very comfortable. There were so many little touches and details in the room that made it feel like a home away from home, like a coffee maker and an electric kettle for tea and these really comfortable robes.

The room itself was incredible. I’ve never stayed anywhere like it. The bathroom was so cool I honestly could have just hung out in there the whole trip and been happy! Same for the swimming pool, it was a great place to swim and to lay out. Also, some excellent bird watching under the big tree by the fountain. I’m fairly certain I saw a female hooded oriole!

I highly recommend Inn Paradiso to anyone looking for a very luxurious and cozy getaway. It’s a wonderful place with lots of character and relaxing energy. Thanks again to the wonderful hosts and staff!

We stayed at Inn Paradiso while picking up our fall wines and we loved it. It's a unique property that's very comfortable and offers an experience not found often. The rooms are large & very comfortable, with a large and quiet property. There's a beautiful pool area, an organic garden, fruit trees and it's gate protected.

All over the property there are intimate areas to hang out, Given the choice between a standard hotel in Paso or Inn Paradiso, absolutely stay at Paradiso, you'll thank me later.

Inn Paradiso is a charming, ecclectic and unique hotel on the outskirts of Paso Robles. We stayed here for two nights for a special occasion, while visiting nearby wineries. ||There were some things we found peculiar:||- They don’t have any front desk so they apply self check-in and check-out.||- We didn’t see any staff anywhere (until it was time for us to leave, which is when we saw housekeeping on the grounds).||- The entrance to the main lodge was locked during our entire stay. (Luckily, our room was connected to the main lodge from the inside, so we could get into the main lodge anyway.)||- Our room wasn’t made up during our entire stay, and we had to call for things to be replenished. ||- We discovered there actually was a hostess on site, when we called the service number to ask for an iron. Even though the hotel clearly states, both on their website and in the booking confirmation, that dogs are not permitted in the main lodge and only in two suites dedicated to pets, the hostess not only kept her own dog in the main lodge but let it into our room when delivering the iron. We SPECIFICALLY chose this hotel because of their restrictive dog policy. Huge disappointment!||The hotel was quaint, our room charming, and the bathroom spacious with a beautiful bathtub. However, we don’t think it lived up to a mention in the Michelin Guide. They didn’t even offer breakfast.

Inn Paradiso lives up to its name. We spent a hot August afternoon by the pool, ate outside in the warm evening, and enjoyed an almost-cool morning on the lovely grounds. The human touch is everywhere, in every piece of furniture, in every piece of art, in the uniqueness of each room. It's gem of a place, and we left wanting more.

I had a slice of the good life at Inn Paradiso. A uniquely Californian experience, the owners have honored the bohemian roots of the inn and each room has a thoughtful blend of art, plush towels and robes, coffee/tea stations, modern luxuries like Bluetooth speakers, and craftsmanship you just can't find around anymore. Inn Paradiso has the aesthetics that boutique hotels attempt to emulate. All of the rooms are SPACIOUS, and have unique features like lofts, nooks for art-making or DEEP, DEEP bathtubs. Beautiful outdoor spaces were steps away from my room...a shaded porch with a hammock, a converted greenhouse with comfy seating, and a garden overlooking a nearby vineyard. If you like the vibe of Santa Fe, Asheville, Bolinas or Idyllwild; this is the weekend getaway you've been looking for.

It is not overstating things to say: Inn Paradiso is a little slice of heaven. The serenity and beauty throughout the acres on their estate really puts you in that frame of mind. Only six large suites across three buildings that were built I believe in the 70's of beautiful old timbers, crafted in unique/artistic ways. Our room (and I looked in others that were similar in approach) was filled with a beautiful array of vintage furnishings (predominantly, though not exclusively, mid-century). Featuring some amazing artwork and cool books, the Inn clearly has been curated by someone blessed with the touch - feeling less like an upscale Inn, and more like a very clever person's home. It's extremely private, and has a large swimming pool filled from the property's well, paths that wind past wisteria and other beautiful plants and trees, and even an honest-to-god Orangerie building, containing beautiful rugs and furnishings surrounded by citrus trees, where we played a game of chess and I smoked a cigar (see attached photo).

The rooms have extremely comfortable beds covered in sumptuous linens and contain all you'd want in the best shampoos and even a Nespresso machine and frother. The location of the Inn is perfect: on a secluded hilltop close to town and local restaurants - but not in town. So it is quiet and peaceful. It's also conveniently located to all the Paso wineries (but to be honest, we cancelled wine tasting one day to instead hang-out at the Inn to drink wine we bought, to read a book and just soak in the vibe).

I loved the Inn for all that I've described, but also for its uniqueness. It's just not something you come across every day and I will be returning again and again.

(And you're likely to encounter the owner on the property. He’s super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and it was fun to talk to him about his many hobbies including vintage Porsches, vinyl records, Japanese whiskey and some really, really old wines!)

Very disappointed, spiders everywhere the room, old ice cream in freezer, wondered if room was cleaned. Slanted ceiling in bedroom & bathroom, no ventilation. No instructions on coffee maker, no contact information for questions, no office or personal on property. Rough dirt road to property, our name & access code for steel gate was easily found at entrance. We are Airbnb host in Oregon and for the cost would never recommend.
