This was our 4th time having the pleasure of staying here. As always, the property, and food were great and would alone make this a 4-5 star stay. What sets it apart are the owners of the property Dave and Trudy. They make the stay even more memorable by being friendly/kind and engaging. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, and we will be sure to return.

We recently stayed at the Inn at Wawanissee Point, and it was an unforgettable bed and breakfast experience. The villa, grounds, and panoramic views are simply stunning. Dave and Trudy are incredibly personable, kind, and accommodating hosts who truly make you feel at home. The villa is adorned with fascinating and charming decor that invite you to explore and learn.

We stayed in the Tepee Room, which was impeccably clean, cozy, and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Each morning, we were treated to delicious breakfasts featuring homemade bakery and granola followed by delightful and unique main entrees. Trudy’s cooking and baking, along with her
meal presentations, made each breakfast a highlight of our stay.

Happy hour was a joy, featuring wine with a cheese and cracker plate and engaging conversations with Dave and Trudy about the villa’s history and the Baraboo area. We appreciated the groomed and marked hiking trails that they created through the beautiful wooded grounds, which included a serene pond and a gently flowing creek.

With our consent, Dave and Trudy also introduced us to their friendly dogs, Sampson and Delilah, who joined us on our hikes, adding an extra layer of fun to our outdoor adventures. It was a delight to have them lead us along the trails.

We highly recommend the Inn at Wawanissee Point for an amazing, fun, and serene experience. We can’t wait to return!

WOW! Inn at Wawanissee Point photos should be in magazines! The craftsmanship of the beautiful oak woodwork and cabinetry is awesome! Trudy and Dave are awesome hostess and host! It was fun to walk the trails this morning with Trudy! A wonderful slice of heaven with spectacular views of the Baraboo Valley!

The Inn is run by 2 very nice and good natured folks. À great view and walkable trails. And breakfast is always interesting. Trudy is a very good cook, and the evening cheese and wine tops off the day. We enjoy sitting by fireplace in the evening

This was our first stay at a B&B, and it will be hard to beat! Our Bordeaux room was comfortable and extremely clean accommodations for our 6 night trip to Wisconsin. Dave and Trudy were gracious hosts sharing their little piece of heaven on earth. Trudy made delicious breakfasts each morning! The trails on their property are nice easy hikes and their dogs led the way insuring we didn't get lost. We highly recommend The Inn at Wawanissee Point for a trip exploring Devil's Lake State Park and the surrounding area, or any other reason to getaway to Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Dave & Trudy are perfect innkeepers. They’re warm, friendly and helpful - and their home and grounds are immaculate. They’ve thought of every detail to make your stay absolutely comfortable.||The breakfasts are delicious and artfully presented. And if you want to take a walk along mossy trail through the surrounding woods, their dogs are happy to accompany you. ||One of the most thoroughly delightful B&Bs we’ve ever experienced.

A group of friends and I stayed at the Inn at Wawanissee point for a fun, fabulous, and relaxing girls getaway weekend. From the time we arrived, the owners Dave and Trudy were amazing! They made us all feel so welcomed. After we all settled in to our rooms, we met in the bar area from wine and cheese. It was the perfect way to start our weekend. | The Inn is absolutely beautiful with stunning views. It was immaculately clean and the bed (I stayed in the Birds Nest room) was so comfortable. I also loved the hydro tub in the room. | Dave and Trudy recommended and made reservations for our group at a great supper club and local brewery. Dave even told us about the blackberry old fashion made with brandy at the brewery, it was awesome! | Trudy made amazing breakfasts that helped us start our mornings off right! Her pear crumble was fantastic! | Overall a great experience! We are already planning our next girls trip for next year! Don’t miss this place!

We absolutely loved this Inn. The Inn itself is so stunning & the view….just gorgeous. Trudy & Dave are wonderful hosts. They make sure you are VERY well cared for & all your needs are met. Breakfast was delicious & beautifully presented. Served on the deck as it was nice out, again amazing views & hummingbirds all around. And Trudy could write a cookbook with all the delicious things she prepared & the baked goods she made!! Wine hour from 530-630 with a lovely charcuterie platter & great conversation with Dave is a must. As for hiking, It is so close to the Ice Age access & Devils Lake. Can’t say enough good things, we will definitely be back. I should add we chose the Teepee Room because we wanted the view & balcony. So glad we did!!
