We were very pleased with this hotel. We read a few horrible reviews and were skeptical. Those reviews were way off base. The hotel is very well maintained and clean. The staff was so helpful. The grounds and pool area was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel. Plus, the rooms were fantastic and the bed was very comfy

Positives: |- Hotel is in a great location near Indian Wells Tennis garden - great for proximity to BNP Paribas Open. About a ~35m walk.|- daytime front desk staff was super welcoming, nice|- Reasonably priced relative to other hotels in the area|- shuttle every 30m to the BNP paribas open from hotel|- reasonably priced buffet breakfast at $15.99|- very pretty, warm and clean swimming pool with great view of golf course and palm trees|- live entertainment in cocktail bar in the evenings||Opptys for improvement - a few small things would really improve the experience|- wifi was difficult to get on, was not able to use hotel wifi during the whole stay|- no sanitizer (for cleaning equipment!) or towels in the fitness room |- shower wall mounted dispenser drizzles shampoo/conditioner combo. wolud love to see them upgrade to a higher quality, separate shampoo and conditioner?|- hotel shuttle does NOT pick up from the tennis garden at the same place as the bigger hotel shuttles. But this not stated on the shuttle info sign at the front desk. We called the front desk when we didn't see the Resort Hotel sign where the other shuttles were - and were told the shuttle picks up "where the other shuttles do". Waited longer, then called a few more times - finally figured out pick up is at "gate 10" which is a different place, where the ubers pick up. Walked there, waited, could not find the shuttle, and gave up. Front desk at the hotel was not helpful at all unfortunately.||might stay again due to proximity - if so, would love to see some of these small improvements for this lovely hotel.

It almost has a theme park/museum feel with the larger than life Lucy and Desi photos that line the hallways. The place is very clean and the room was spacious. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were small and felt cheap. Fortunately there was 6 of them. There's a pricey restaurant that is part of the place that provides room service which is convenient. There was a refrigerator in the room but no microwave to warm up leftovers which was disappointing. There was a small coffee maker and 2 coffee packets with creamer and sweetener. For the price we thought it was a good value, but no microwave and no complimentary morning coffee other than what was in the room lost points with us.

It was very clean, and staff was extremely friendly. The rooms are large. The breakfast set up was disappointing. 15.00 for cereal and muffins etc and an extra 10.00 to add eggs and bacon/sausage. Our room was never stocked with coffee cups so we were charged 10.00 for 2 cups of coffee from the buffet. We were charged 25.00 a day for parking which wasn’t posted anywhere online when we booked. No microwaves in the room to heat up our leftovers.
It’s a nice hotel but not nice enough for all the added charges that would be included in a hotel that price. We liked the hotel, but will probably choose a different place to stay next time.

The rooms had some older and newer touches to them. Our shower took a long time to get hot and turned cold at one point. But the rooms were spacious. Also the bed size is a full and very bouncey but wasn't too bad to sleep on. The cable was out so we didn't have tv, so we were given buffet breakfast vouchers for the morning. The breakfast buffet was basic. Was disappointed they didn't have make your own fresh waffles and only had ready made packaged ones. The staff all around was super friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful and the surrounding area was also beautiful.

My best friend and I make it a tradition to come here every year for a fall getaway and a weekend of reading and relaxation. We always snag their Groupon deal, which includes breakfast vouchers—a nice little perk. Most of our time is spent lounging by the pool, lost in our books, and it’s the perfect way to unwind.

The beds are super comfortable, so we sleep like babies, and our room is always spotless. The pool area is cozy and peaceful—though it could use a good power wash, it doesn’t take away from how much we enjoy the quiet vibe. The dinner entertainment is always a highlight of our trip, and it keeps us coming back year after year.

It's such a shame how downhill this hotel has become, being that it was once a beloved place which hosted many legends. The service now is absolutely terrible, the staff does not try to make things right, and lie to your face. The rooms have roaches. Do not stay here if your life depends on it. Be careful eating here too because if the rooms have roaches, so does the restaurant.|TV's don't work. Rooms are filthy, AC unit is dirty. Fridge is disgusting. Also they charge a $25 parking fee, unknowingly until you check out, and it's not valet. Double rooms are small twin beds as well. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

The lobby was beautiful and impressive. The room was clean and well-kept. However, the front desk staff was unprofessionally rude and not engaging. The breakfast was not included as it was advertised and there was hidden fee for the parking which is $25, I know it might not be that much but the principal is what matters.
