Rooms and patio deep in a bustling UCSD Campus. The facilities were fine. Getting from Scholars parking to the facility was a minor challenge. On returning to the parking, the elevator was behind a locked glass door. Luckily some students took pity on 2 senior citizens and let us in.

I was invited here as a guest and pleasently surprised by my experience. The venue was very laid back, but it had fine finishes and excellent service. The buffet had extensive offerings and was f4esh. The food was excellent. I truly enjoyed myself.

I do so many events here I can't count them all! This is my go-to spot to ensure a fabulous event. They have an all-star catering team, who will help you plan your event, a banquet manager who ensures that everything is set up just oh-so-perfectly, and who has the professional serving staff to guaranty that even the most important VIP event is carried out flawlessly. I am pretty fastidious when it comes to service, and this catering staff has service down to a T. Quiet servers who keep the dishes moving smoothly and silently, while attendees are concentrating on the key-note speaker. And the food is always artfully presented and delicious.

It's a private club on the UCSD campus in LA Jolla. Tom's staff there is great. Chef Ed and his crew do an excellent job. It's a buffet style set up with something new every day. I just did a remodel to there bar. We added a pizza oven, outside bar with a beautiful trellis and poured in place fireplace on the new patio.

It is my favorite place to dine with friends and faculty members. The food is exceptionally good with a great variety of salads.
Would highly recommend this place to arrange group meetings while enjoying your delicious meal, coffee.

We had our wedding reception at the UCSD Faculty Club in the Atkinson Pavilion. It was the perfect place for our wedding! My husband and I are both alumni of UCSD so it was a location with personal meaning for the both of us. We were the only event happening at the Faculty Club that day, so we did not have to worry about random people walking by or our guests getting lost. It was like we were in our own private world! The wedding coordinator, Julia, and the rest of her staff (Renee and Lilia) were very easy to communicate with during the wedding planning process. They also had so many helpful suggestions and tips for our wedding reception. We were able to see the venue several times throughout the planning process and each time a different event was happening that day. It gave us the chance to see a variety of ways the room could be set up for an event. Renee was on hand the day of the wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly. She set up our centerpieces and decorations perfectly and made sure everyone had a parking permit and was parked in the right spot. The campus provided the perfect setting for pictures, especially the Eucalyptus Grove and the Sungod statue. There is an outdoor courtyard that provided the perfect, intimate setting for the cocktail hour. The Atkinson Pavilion looked beautiful! There is a beautiful, huge window on the back wall that is such a neat backdrop for the dance floor. The food is absolutely amazing! We had the chicken piccata and the butternut squash ravioli. Both were so delicious! During our food tasting we were able to customize the dishes to our liking (no mushrooms) and personally meet the chef, Ed. The service staff is so professional and amazing. The banquet manager, Temo, always made sure we were taken care of and everything was to our liking during our wedding. Our wedding was better than we ever could have imagined thanks to the Faculty Club!

Under new management. The food is terrible and very limited options for vegetarians. I have been here for nearly 20 years and have enjoyed many meals, meetings and receptions at the faculty club, but until the service and food return, I will not host any events here for my program.
