Very nice hotel and great location. The double queen bed rooms are huge. Beds are comfortable. Very clean. Walls are a bit thin though. Staff are very nice and helpful. Water and ice dispensers on every floor. Wifi is fast and reliable. Parking is an extra cost daily. The gym is pretty nice and a decent size, but can only be accessed from outside the hotel (just around the block). Free weights, weight machines, treadmills, Peleton bikes, ellipticals, rowing machine, yoga room, water dispenser. There are many restaurants in the hotel. We stay here once a year and plan to keep doing so. Reasonably priced when booked early

The property is clean and well taken care of but could use a refresh. ||Bell staff was incredibly friendly. ||Event did was less than debatable. ||We were staying for a special event at the hotel and decided to make a night of it ||The even offered discounted parking. We asked upon checkin how to handle this and did as they asked . Valet attendant waived our attention to confirm we weren't charged the full rate and told us it was taken care of.||Upon review of our bill after departing we were charged the full amount. I called the property and was told that the manager refused to speak to me, but that the rate was only available for event guests not hotel guests. Well I was an event guest I just also happened to stay at the hotel. The front desk said they also were not aware of this policy and to call back the next day (after holding for now than 25 minutes) and maybe another manager would agree to speak to me. Um, what? ||Additionally, the bar makes up it's own hours. We were told they decide when they'll close, and mostly ignored us, took 20 mins to delivery two drinks, then slapped the bill down and said we're closing, (45 mins early) with no last call or ability to order anything else. ||Not a great experience for our quick staycation

I had a very good experience. I am so grateful for that. It was a relaxing weekend getaway. The food was delicious. The drinks were also good and plentiful. I will definitely stay here again. Hyatt Regency Sacramento, thank you so much for the great experience.

Edited review: great location. There's a cute old theater nearby, nice restaurants, and an event area right across the street. Everyone working at the hotel is very polite, and the room is fantastic. They've also got a nice gift shop at the ground floor, and if you're snackish, there's a hallway next to the front desk that leads to a snack area that's open even late at night. It's also got a connected parking garage run by a separate business. On my stay, their system didn't give me a ticket when I checked in, so the front desk gave me a temporary one. CHECK THE DATE IF YOU GET ONE, as it's most likely an old ticket days or even weeks before your stay. If there's any issues with parking, make sure you work them out BEFORE you leave.

All Good!! The room was perfect and the temperature is perfect. Bedding was good and pillows were great. Only complain if ever is that we were given a room that was quite far from the elevator and we are elderly folks. We could have been provided a closer room although we understand if that was the only room that was available

Fantastic and spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. The location is outstanding as you are right across from the State Capitol. There are plenty of high end restaurants within a block or two. The lobby and hotel are great. I used the gym and found all the equipment I needed.

The hotel is in a great location, as it is right across the street form the state capitol and the state capitol park. The hotel is very clean, the beds are very comfortable and the food was good! The weekend I was there, they YMCA was having a convention so it was very crowded (no fault of the hotel) and wait times for the elevator was long at times. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's central location also makes it a great place to stay (2 hours to Tahoe 2 hours to the coast). I would recommend and stay again!

The service was excellent, the room was bigger than I expected and so clean and luxurious. There was a fridge in the room with complimentary water. I got city view, and it was a view of the parking lot below, which wasn't that great, but someone has to have that view and I'm not a member of the rewards program. It was a great stay.
