We are here in Riverside for a celebration of life event from Denver, and really loved this hotel - mainly the people who work here. We found them to all be so professional and courteous, and we felt to welcomed. We are at breakfast now, and a lady who is blind just came down here for her breakfast. The people in her party (seemingly not her family) just left her at the table and didnโ€™t help her ONE BIT to get her breakfast, so there she sat, alone, with no food or drink. The lady at the front desk went over to her table which was right in front of the desk, talked to her momentarily, and helped her. People needed to check out, so she called another nice lady from the kitchen to come help. The lady from the kitchen came out, told the blind lady what was for breakfast, and kindly made her plate, and patted her on the back and spoke so nicely to her. She was soooo nice, and my husband and I both really took note of how sweet she was. We gave her a tip and told her thank you, and asked her name. Her name is Esperanza. I really hope she can get some recognition for her kindness. Sheโ€™s been in here working like crazy for the past hour weโ€™ve been here. Thank you sweet lady.

My opinion is very mixed on this place. There are some positives the front desk and cleaning service people were very nice and helpful. The breakfast staff are wonderful too. The place was very clean. There's parking, but they charge $29 a night, and there's no guarantee you will get parking, so they might send you to an overflow lot. There are a lot of added fees you won't see until later on room charges, which is crazy. There is no microwave and not alot of drawers or places to put luggage. It is a very noisy hotel obviously being in the city you get outside noises but also you can hear everyone walking above you. It's not a quiet, restful atmosphere.

Service was amazing here! Breakfast was delicious and all of the staff were so nice and welcoming! The rooms were clean and the entire hotel feels like home! We stayed here with 5 people for 3 days, the only thing I wish the room had was a dresser for storage. Parking was 29$ a day which is high but when you factor in free breakfast for 5 everyday Iโ€™d gladly pay for parking!

Front desk staff is great. Fantastic breakfast. They just keep not servicing the room for two days now regardless of requesting it. So you are required to call housekeeper to get toilet paper, fresh towels and plastic bags for your trash. Also get coffee packs. Very sad for such a nice property. Hopefully my room gets serviced before I checkout on Tuesday.

Remodeled rooms were very nice. Lobby and common areas as well as the gym. We stay at this place frequently when visiting family. Place is pet friendly. The breakfast is better than most places good coffee typically scrambled eggs, a meat, potato or pancakes. Fruit toast cereals oats, etc.

Our first trip to Hyatt Place in Riverside was very disappointing. First, we get there at check in time and we're told rooms not ready and it will be about an hour. We stay in many hotels and have never had to wait for room to be cleaned after check in time. A staff member came and told us they would upgrade room but we would not have the view we paid for. Okay, fine. We get in room and realize it's not an upgraded room and in fact costs less than the room we booked. Once in room we realize every time we turn water on a nasty gas smell coming from faucet. They charge $29 per night to park. We quickly found out that the lot we paid to park in sold out. They use hotel parking lot to sell spaces to people attending other events in area. Hotel guests have to park down the street and walk to hotel while non guests park in our paid lot. Every night loud music until late at night. Oh and the fryer was broken so we couldn't have lunch at hotel. The worker told us it had been over a week since broken. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean but everything else was disappointing to say the least. DO NOT STAY HERE.
