Some of the reviews mention that the hotel has a very clean and tasteful modern decor. However, noise can be an issue, with guests able to hear conversations from above and side rooms. The front desk did not take calls to ask guests to keep the noise down, and there were no rooms available to change to.

For business guests, a quiet and earlier than a 10 pm quiet hour would help make their stay more positive, comfortable, and enjoyable.

Very clean and tasteful modern decor. Noise, was a huge issue. I could hear conversations clearly from above and side rooms.
Front desk didn't take my call to ask the guests above to kindly remember there is someone below them seriously. No room to change to.
For guests staying for business, quiet and earlier than a 10pm quiet hour helps make a stay more positive, comfortable, and enjoyable.

Our family stayed the night before an early flight, and we were very happy with the hotel shuttle service to the airport.
The breakfast hours make for an easy morning with young children, and they provide a quality selection. The pool was a little lacking, but overall, it was a good experience.

This is your standard Hyatt Place, and I mean that in a positive way. Rooms were clean and spacious, breakfast basic but good, and staff was very pleasant.

Location is great and fitness center was tiny, but had some of the essentials.

The wifi was not working when I tried to connect, but I barely spent anytime at the hotel so never got a chance to report it to the front desk.

Overall, my stay was pleasant, and would stay here again.

It seems like every guest gathers in the lobby to play games, creating a lively atmosphere. The room was spacious but extremely dry. The hot water worked well, and the breakfast in the morning was good. They also sell Korean noodles for $6 at the front desk. I’d consider staying here again if I visit Fairbanks in the future.

Rooms are OK, location is great. But very poor housekeeping. In my experience I reminded the lady roaming the floor, before leaving I reminded the front desk and still no housekeeping done.
And when they do, they don’t refill the coffee pods, they don’t refill the shower gel pumps, and you have to remind them.
This is my experience what’s yours?

The hotel was nice enough - the website features a photo of a hot tub in the gallery but there isn’t one so be aware of that.

The main reason for my review is the general manger Bonnie. We had requested to switch rooms and was told we could by another front desk employee. When we went to get the information to do so later, Bonnie told us it was impossible. It was not the fact that she didn’t switch our room (the booking company - Chase - worked it out for us so we did move), but the way she handled the situation. She was rude and didn’t seem to care about the complaints we had about the need to switch rooms. Would recommend the hotel, but I would not recommend having to deal with a rude manager. The rest of the staff was lovely.

The rooms are great - only ding is for having an iron but no ironing board, but that's not the end of the world. The rooms are also a little noisy - walls including above and below seem very thin and I can hear a lot of adjacent nose. The staff is great - they're on the ball and are super friendly. Zero issues there. The location is a toss up - there's a lot of big box stores close by, but not a lot of restaurants. It would be good if it were more centrally located, but if it was you'd be getting robbed by the homeless folks. This is kind of out on the edge of town, but over time the area will fill in with more stuff. The restaurant and bar at the hotel are ok, but they're convenient if you get snowed in unexpectedly - which happens. Didn't stay at a restaurant in Fairbanks that doesn't have an in house place to eat. Overall pretty good - I'm not a Hyatt loyalty person but I'd still consider staying here again.

Great location. The AC is totally broke, the highest room temperature is only 63F. It feels like a ice cave in the winter. I have to put two layers of clothes while sleeping. And totally got a mild cold in the following day. No body lotion provided, there are two shampoos and no body wash in the shower. Requested an additional electric heater, and you know what, it doesn’t work either. Maybe as a hotel, the first thing you have to do is a functional AC that actually can warms up the room.
