The location in Virginia Town Center was great. We had a king suite & the room was beautiful just as pictured BUUUTTTT all of the suites are located on the corner facing Independence Blvd and the windows are NOT double pane so you WILL HEAR EEVVVVEERRRYYYY car, cat, dog, person going by! There is a hospital about 2 miles up the street so you will hear at least 10 ambulances per night! If that’s not enough, the furnace for the heat/air was right beside the headboard so everytime it turns on it’s super loud! The hotel was completely booked so I did not sleep for 5 days!!! Make sure you get a room facing the parking lot otherwise you will NOT GET ANY SLEEP!!!

I came out for job training! I must say its a nice hotel mid grade. Room was clean nice check in. Friendly staff. I did eat at the restaurant part only because the staff wasn't there yet. Breakfast was hot and FREE!!! Traditional American breakfasts eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes or waffles. Variations of those food items not everything at one time.

Hyatt Place Chesapeake, good location, well kept property. Quiet, dog friendly. We experienced great service. Staff was very friendly. Four stars on the room only because the shower door would not remain closed. It would roll back open, but the shower is large enough that one ca move to the back and shower with no water splashing out. Personal note: I think all Hyatt's should have adjustable beds in all of their handicap rooms. It would benefit your business and clients.

I work for Amazon and we love Hyatt. So the rooms and location are never a problem. We had a to book a last minute business travel the day prior to me getting there. Everything is always booked through my area managers business company card. We have never had an issue. I don’t know if this location is a franchise and some random person is able to own it which is exactly what it looked like. The guy who helped me was on his phone sitting down singing in his native language, then when he gets up I give him my name and he already knows who I am my manager called to just let them know we had a last minute business reservation and she sent the prior authorization form. He refused to let me stay. Hyatt should have another policy in place for emergency reservations for their business customers. Instead he was very rude and said “we do t do that”. Amazon spends a lot of money with this chain and this will be going up to the highest level. It was late at night I was two hours away from my home had worked a long day and had to drive all the way home. Never ever again at this location. The worst customer service I’ve ever had to encounter.

Fabulous family-run hotel. We stayed here for a night while exploring the local area, and were very happy with our stay. The staff were exceptionally helpful, even filling my refillable water bottle with iced water. Our room was large, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and couch. Breakfast was delicious, very fresh and constantly replenished. Ample parking with multiple restaurants in walking distance. We will stay here again when we’re in the area.

The king rooms are terrific. We had a 2 queen room our first night and then a king room- both had a couch area with a fridge, mini -one- cup coffee maker, no microwave. Bring your own toiletries! Soap provided- I do believe there is a charge for toiletries adhered to the shower wall. The heated salt water pool was lovely. We were the only patrons until two more young folks joined us (Aug no less). Towels were provided. The gym is by the pool but we didn’t use it. It looked very decent and not crowded- never in use! ||One top feature at the Hyatt is the generous breakfast (6-9AM)! Hot foods: scrambled eggs, home fries, sausages, waffles, toast, bagels, but also cereals, hard boiled eggs, donuts, fresh fruits, yogurts, juices, and of course, coffees and tea. All you can eat too. ||There is a hidden small restaurant to make your lunch, dinner, or late night snacks (closes at 10PM). The meals are more than generous. ||We were using the Hyatt as a short getaway for a much needed break to get some rest and celebrate our anniversary. We loved the quiet environment and lack of commotion. This was a family friendly hotel however there weren’t tons of kids yelling and screaming which was exactly what we needed. Rooms book quickly online! ||We’d go back again when we need to sneak away for some quality sleep!

I had an outstanding experience at Hyatt Place! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and professional, and the entire property was clean, modern, and comfortable. What truly made my stay exceptional was the service provided by the General Manager, Mr. Khan. His attention to detail, warm hospitality, and genuine care for guests stood out. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect during my stay. It’s rare to see such dedication and personal involvement from management. Thank you, Mr. Khan, for making my visit memorable — I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this hotel to others!

I’m very pleased with this hotel. I have been staying here several times over the last couple of years, because my son and his family live in the area. I have stayed at a couple of other places, but I prefer this hotel because it’s quieter, better quality overall, the breakfast selection is better, and it’s close to many restaurants and stores, but far enough away to not hear the traffic from the main streets. I definitely recommend this hotel.
