We stayed for the Christmas holidays. The location is close to the airport which is why we selected it. The staff was lovely, and the breakfast was a welcomed to start the day with more than enough options.||Things I liked:||-Free receipt of packages for guest|-Laundry available (Front desk has the quarters needed so that was convenient) it cost $2 per was per dryer per soap per dryer sheets |-Free Breakfast|-Close to airport|-EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE - Front desk staff was so amazing and kind.| |Things to improve:||-Parking cost US$20 per day|-There are no elevators - this shocked me but it because Hyatt House unlike Hyatt Place is a series of 3-storey houses not one single storey hotel - I did not know that. I would definitely recommend requesting a 1st floor if accessibility is an issue. We had a 2nd floor and getting the suitcase up and down was a stress (the hotel can help with that if needed in their defence).|- Location from the main building - we were initially place in Building 10, which was far and very noisy as the train path is literally outside. We were moved to building 18 which was way better I would recommend asking for a building closes to the front office and "odd numbered buildings" offer more privacy...building 18 was literally by the roadway.|- Room service is on request, which must be done 24hrs before. I did request but it was not written down and had to wait an additional day.|-Maybe be a little more proactive, if there are 3 guests ensure 3 towels and at least 6 pillows. We had to ask for an additional towel and pillows and go to the front desk for same. maybe put more than 1 roll of toilet paper as room service is not daily.| |Getting to any major activity (with traffic) was about 45mins to 1hr like Disney and Lego Land...but we did choose a location close to the airport which meant far from activities. There are 2 famous restaurant walking distance, but it is $$$$ price range.

We stayed here for one night before an early flight out of LAX. Arriving at the hotel was somewhat difficult due to the location in a larger hotel/event/parking garage complex. It was a bit confusing which way to go to get in. The 2 bedroom suite was nice. Spacious. Nice layout. Nice kitchen and 2 full bathrooms. Bit odd that there were very few photos and no room layout shown online so we didn’t know what to expect.
The one thing we were not thrilled to discover was that our room was on the third floor and there were no elevators. We arrived in the late evening after a full 8 days of travel and were not super pleased about having to haul or luggage up 4 flights of stairs. I’m also quite sure that those in the nearby rooms did not love hearing us banging our luggage down those 4 flights of stairs at 4:20 the next morning.

Sosi (sp?) was very nice when she checked me in. Finding my room was easy, and it's so nice to be close enough to LAX, but far enough from the craziness. | I had a one bedroom and the kitchen had all the basics in there, dishes, utensils, fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker. But I never had to cook anything because there's GREAT restaurants and a mall very close by. Manhattan Village is the name of the mall.| The living area was comfortable, and the desk was great, even though the desk chair was kinda lumpy. But I still got work done.| I slept very well, even though the Douglas Metro train station was right behind. But when it comes by, it sounds like water boiling in a kettle. Not too bad.| It wasn't warm enough to use the pool, but it looked nice. The shower was hot and really strong water pressure. | I also like that you can drive close to your room. There's still a $20 charge for parking, but that's still not bad compared to the crazy parking fees you get at LAX.| | I was impressed with the breakfast. There was a number of hot items, breads, a toasting machine, and lots of cereals, juices and coffee. The hot items were really good!! And the eggs were decent scrambled eggs, not those rubber egg "discs" most hotels serve. And the biscuits were hot and crispy on the outside. The gravy paired so well with the biscuits.|| My only gripe: Checkout is at noon, and at 11:40 there was a man already knocking at my door for housekeeping. He was very nice about it, but I don't like when housekeeping wants to get in there when you're not ready to vacate yet.| I really liked staying here. Everyone was so nice. I can't wait to stay here again.

The customer service was amazing. Every employee was absolutely wonderful. We loved the layout of the room. We got a king suite with a sofa bed. The rooms were outdated and smelled awful. It smelled like cat urine and sweat. Unfortunately, I could not take the smell, so we changed hotels. The rooms were generally clean, but need some serious renovations. We wished it could have worked out, but I believe with renovations, this could be a great place.

My room wasn’t properly cleaned. There were long blond hairs on the headboard, also a thick layer of dust on top of the headboard. I should’ve taken photos to post, but mind was on cleaning. It was disgusting. The shower had mold or mildew in the corners. Thank goodness I brought my own Lysol wipes to clean everything. There was no elevator, so I had to take the stairs to the 3rd floor which sucked. The shower water changed temperatures. The parking is also terrible. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I could hear the train every time it stopped, but it didn’t really bother me. The staff is not very personable.

The worst customer service we have had, no elevator, no maid service the whole 3 nights we were there, property is run down, keys kept not working, bad WiFi, trash around the property- not reflective of any Hyatt we have stayed in before. So disappointed! We stayed because they have Trio Suites on property which was convenient for our group. We will never go back. The “manager” on site was extremely rude and lacked any kind of customer service. She should not be working in the hospitality industry at all. Please take note: NO ELEVATOR. Pet friendly hotel but with no daily housekeeping

The suite is very dated with dirty carpets. Moreover, they provided a suite in the third floor with no elevators. We were a family of 4 with luggages and that was not easy. The staff was not very willing to help but one of them helped carry the luggages with hesitation. They also did not give the originally requested suite stating the reason as the room was not in a good condition and instead gave us two suites. Overall it was an unpleasant experience. The breakfast was below par. During the weekends, it was very basic. I wouldn't visit this place ever again.
