First time eating there. Had a large group for birthday party of all ages. The waitress was polite, professional, took care of all our request. Drinks, appetizers and food was all good. They had a band playing who did a good job. Place almost packed out. Would recommend this Resturant. Definitely a good chance of places to eat!!

Great place to stop close to I-20 in a charming southern town. We stopped in for lunch. I had a fried chicken breast (not bone-in) with a delicious BLT side salad and an amazingly creamy macaroni & cheese. My husband had a mushroom and Swiss burger on a toasted bun that he felt was just ok. He also got the macaroni & cheese and loved it. The service was quick and prices reasonable. The menu was a Saturday brunch menu with less options. We would stop in again if ever coming through.

If you go to Hubbards, do not get the chicken piccata. I was there for a birthday party and while our server was doing her best and was amazing, the food I had was near inedible. Three people including me got the chicken piccata with different sides (the Brussel sprouts were really good) and when we took one bite of our chicken it tasted old and sour. I then got chicken tenders in replacement for the chicken piccata since everyone there who didn’t get the piccata got that and seemed to enjoy it. Well after receiving my new plate it tasted like soap, the fries were good but the chicken tasting like they marinated it in Dawn really threw me off.

Love the story of this place. The owner gave us a historical recount of the property and it's transformation over the years. They host alot of community events as well. The shrimp and grits were delicious, though I'm used to a little firmer grits. The sauce was addictive. The also had low contry chicken as well. The home made banana pudding was also very crushable.
The staff was very friendly but not the greatest at getting drinks in a timely manner.
I would suggest in the future that they just automatically bring water out to start. We had 3 appetizers severed very quickly in about a 20min window but no beverages to wash them down.
This seems a growing issue whenever I dine out anywhere lately not just at Hubbard's. I'm not sure if places are trying to wash less dishes or what but it definitely used to be more of a things pre covid. Places would just welcome you with water to start and now I feel like I have to beg for a drink.
Hubbard's is definitely worth the stop and seems to be s great asset to the community.
Also it is close to the sender of the Arts so it makes for a nice dinner and a show date night.

This place this diamond deserves five stars! From the ambiance to the service and food is perfection. The chicken and waffles was superior, every succulent bite of that waffle made my heart sing and dance lol. The tenders were fried to perfection and seasoned like they were supposed to be. My husband enjoyed a steak omelette stuffed hash browns mushrooms onions green peppers and cheese! It was delicious. This will be our weekend spot!!! Loving it here in Anniston Alabama. Go get them chicken and waffles with a side of crispy juicy bacon!

I loved the place! The ambiance was relaxing and interesting, the staff was friendly and it had a music vibe. The table bread was warm and tasty, the salad was fresh and crisp. I ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and mac&cheese. The meatloaf was fantastic!! The potatoes were seasoned well, but the macaroni and cheese i do not recommend it was more like pasta in cream sauce. I also had sweet tea and banana pudding, both could've been a little more sweet but they were good nonetheless. I highly recommend this place! I will definitely return, tbh i might get takeout there tonight!
They hosted a retirement dinner for a coworker, they're capable of hosting large parties.
