Overall, an excellent location. It is a nice remodel of an older property. All the doors open to the outside, but the room was quiet and nicely redone, though a bit snug. Despite the website saying there is "free breakfast," be aware that is only one meal per room, and I was travelling with my son, so we had to pay for one meal. I asked for a second voucher at the front desk, but was told that wasn't possible. Overall, a good value in a nice location.

Chic remodel of an older motel, they did a great job the room is clean and fresh with attention to detail. The bed is very comfortable and they have a big gate to keep the rooms enclosed at night (it’s a great downtown location close to everything). They worked with all the local businesses to give you free breakfast from Rosies, a 5-star diner, and also discounts at all the nearby restaurants for lunch or dinner. And the price is great. Staff is friendly.

Hotel Ruby is a godsend! I had an unfortunate last minute trip to visit my ailing mother at Sacred Heart Medical Center. The hotel is a 5 min drive from the hospital, half the price of everything else I could find on short notice and it was perfect! No giant lobby, spa or pool, but a comfortable room with all the amenities one would need (microwave, fridge, etc.), complimentary breakfast (real breakfast) at the restaurant next door and a friendly, welcoming front desk attendant that made my trip so much better than it could have been. Thank you!

I am glad I decided to choose to stay somewhere different this trip. The clerk that check me on was super friendly. The room was clean and cozy and the bed was very comfy. The hotel is in downtown and is within walking distance of some nice venues like The Knitting Factory and several restaurants and other attractions. The price is really good and they have a small parking lot too. I will be staying here any time I go to Spokane.

From the outside it looks just like any other motel with exterior entrances. On the inside, same thing. However, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom/shower was well done, especially the floor. The front desk receptionist was very helpful. But, there is no attendant from 11pm-7am. As a bonus, you get a free breakfast at the adjacent diner.

Cute and cozy and so connected to everything downtown has to offer! Staff were amazing throughout the entire process, from booking to check out! The room was clean as can be! Loved having Rosie’s right next door; it was an incredible breakfast!

Every staff member was very friendly and helpful. The room was small, but clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. (We rented the smallest room.) The hotel is set back from the road which helps tremendously with reducing the traffic noise. The breakfast had several choices, including waffles. The hot water is actually hot and doesn't taste like coffee, which is much appreciated by this tea drinker. We ate at the restaurant next door, where hotel guests receive a discount. The food was very tasty and the servings were generous.

This place is great as it is within walking distance for several venues like The Knitting Factory and The District Bar. There are a lot of great restaurants and several of them if you show your room key you can get a discount. The room was very clean and looked like they had been recently renovated as everything looked new. The bed was super comfy. And even though it was downtown, the noise was minimal. They do leave ear plugs in case you need them. The parking is limited but has a gate so you feel safe from any issues with vandals. The clerk that checked me in was very friendly and went over the complementary breafast at Rosie's, which is next door. I do recommend this hotel if you want to stay downtown and within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and attractions. I will be staying here more often when I come to Spokane.
