It felt like stepping back in time with regard to the decorative motif…it was surprisingly clean for its age. The bed and pillows were comfortable and soft. Even the towels were pretty good. Space for clothing and toiletries is very limited. Parking is very inconvenient being diagonally across the street. The attendant keeps your keys in order to move the cars around for access. The in-room coffee (instant) had much to be desired. Service was very good, polite and professional. Aside from the trivial preferences on my part, it was a good experience.

The staff is wonderful. At check-in, CJ was so kind and helpful. The hotel is close to both metro and bus stops. Though I did not need it, they have parking available. The lobby is stylish and cool. The restaurant on-site is open all day. I was upgraded to a suite, and it was so spacious. The bed is very comfortable. There was a fair bit of street noise, but this was to be expected based on the location in K-town. 10/10 would book here again.

Lovely hotel in the middle of Koreatown. We picked this hotel for the price and walkable location, and it totally delivered on that. Loved hanging out in the beautiful lobby, which had great vibes. ||||This is a historic building, so know you're going to get smaller rooms. But they've done a great job updating, especially the bathroom, which was tiled and beautiful. You do get street noise (we were in a corner unit), so maybe ask about that when you check in if you want to be more away from the street.

Great location in K-Town, great restaurants within walking distance, as is the metro. Common areas are well maintained, rooms are clean. Parking lot is located kitty corner from the hotel and is open air with round the clock attendant. Price was also reasonable (tack on $45 for parking).
Rooms could be better sound-proofed however, could hear neighbors laugh, someone banging their door at 1am, early morning TV at 530am. Could also hear street noise on the 4th floor.
Water pressure was great in the bathroom, but plumbing needs cleaning, could smell it coming from the drains.

Classic style boutique hotel with wooden furnishings. It's very stylish yet posh in a humble way. Old school beauty to be accurate.||Ice machine with chilled water all in one made it easy to eliminate plastic bottles. Bathroom were fitted with retro fittings and loved the bedside lamps that has individual electric plugs!

The hotel is situated in a wonderful spot that allows you to explore Koreatown with ease. Although the hotel is old (est. 1926), it allows the rooms and lobby to exist in a timeless and elegant vibe. The only true complaint is the noise level from vehicles and partygoers outside (I stayed on the second floor, window facing the intersection of S Normandie Ave and W 6th). The floors of the hotel are also a bit squeaky, letting you hear parties of people climb and descend the staircase. Other than these brief noises, my stay was truly one I’ll never forget. Excellent service, staff, and sights for my first time in LA. Thanks!

I stayed there with my sister for a week and we really liked the atmosphere and everyone in the hotel was welcoming. I liked that you can communicate with them through text messages. Overall a great hotel to stay.

This hotel was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. It was dirty, only half of the channels work on the tv, the shower did not drain the water leaving a pool of water to shower in, the walls are thin, you could literally hear everything going on outside (I was on the second floor), you have to flush the toilet 3 times for it to work, the manager Adam made an excuse for every issue… (the Plumbing is bad because it’s an older hotel). I had to move rooms, the second room was worse. Please don’t bring children here, it’s not up to par. The bed was clean and comfortable, however, everything else was disgusting. It looks nothing like the pictures. I was uncomfortable the whole night with my kiddos (4 years old). Please don’t waste your money. Cj was amazing, he tried his best to make it right.
