It’s a historic hotel in a gorgeous town. What else to say? Also staff were very very friendly. Art was unique and very interesting. Awesome coffee. Extremely clean. Very romantic. Safe, and extremely affordable for what you get. Highly recommended

We stayed in the newer rooms and I was very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. We were upstairs and had a nice balcony and a fair amount of space. The location was perfect with lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance also the commuter train stop across the street for a trip into Marin without needing to drive.

The texting communication was a great way to get fast information about parking and to check in/out. Bed was so comfortable! Room was spacious and the staff was excellent. Highly recommend the carriage house, felt like a little apartment.

Recently, I came to Santa Rosa for Training to advance my career. The hotel is historic and charming but extremely old fashion in decor. You could think of it as 1920’s Decor and the building is even older than that…. If you want picture out of old western country film this is the place for you. Centered right in the downtown area and next wonderful small business you are in a treat as solo or business traveler.

Quick check in, front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Love having water offered on arrival. Spotlessly clean, spacious room, great location walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner just around the corner. |Very charming.

One of the better old style hotels my wife and I have stayed. The rooms were comfortable and roomy. Had a junior suite on the top floor. Not alot of windows for a view. The architectural design of the building was very intriguing. Plenty of things to do with in a 5 minute walk.

Nice old timey hotel but the rooms could use better ventilation (fans) and the curtains definitely need to be replaced with something new and modern. It was way too bright in the room in the morning. Black out curtains are the standard in hotels and motels.

My room was quiet with a lovely view, comfortable bed and furnishings suggesting the history of the hotel. Housekeeping was thoughtful and temperatures easily adjusted. There are many good restaurants nearby, a little park and small shops.
