Customer service was awesome. Every single encounter with the lobby attendants were great, each one very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, location was perfect, free overnight parking, and nightly rate was a deal. I recommend to anyone who needs a simple room for a great price.

A delightfully designed hotel, room perfectly sized and everything worked well together ie bed and bath. ||Probably the best small hotel breakfast I have ever had. Not a luxury spread, but amazingly good cheese omelettes warm and waiting.||I'm here for a reunion and a very pleasant 30 minute Palo Alto walk to my events. Enough for a good little exercise walk, but not so much that I wish I had a car.||Located, again the walk, near a plethora of places to eat and shop, if I had shopping in mind.||Clean, quiet, with very congenial staff.

We stayed in the king suite, it was beautiful tall ceilings and very spacious with a street view. Comfy bed and they have Elemis products (love this brand!). There are so many restaurants near by. For coffee they have a nespresso machine, which was amazing I highly recommend taking advantage of it. The staff is friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.

What a great hotel in Palo - first, the service is second to none!! The wonderful front desk staff was attentive and went above and beyond for all my requests. The rooms were clean and thoughtfully appointed, and its location is central to most everything. Will definitely stay again!!! Thank you Hotel Keen & your wonderful staff!

Small but clean room. However, the sheets, pillows, and pillowcases were rough, scratchy, hard, and uncomfortable. The towels were torn and tattered. The heater/air conditioning went on and off all night making noises and blowing cold and warm air directly into our faces in the bed. ||Not worth the price or the terrible night sleep, despite the good location and nice staff.

Very comfortable and clean! We loved the shower so much, we wanted to bring it home with us. Friendly and responsive staff. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and shops and is also so close to Stanford University. Highly recommended! We had a great stay!

I had to move rooms twice due to various malfunctioning hardware in the rooms. The final room was next to the lobby. The final room was fine, except the window didn't close properly. The desk person on duty was wonderful about helping me get to an appropriate room. I commend him on his quick thinking and amenability.

The location was very convenient and within walking distance of Stanford. While small, the room was comfortable and I appreciated the controls on the room's climate control (can individually set temperature and fan speeds). Wifi seemed good, the breakfasts and nespresso machine were nice in the morning, but note that the rooms don't have a mini-fridge which makes saving leftovers at your own risk. The blackout curtain worked great which was nice as I was going to sleep early due to time zone differences. ||I thought whatever they cleaned the bathroom with was rather strong smelling the first night I stayed but it was better the other nights. For some reason my shower had shampoo/body wash, body lotion, and hand/body wash - but no conditioner. I just walked to the nearby CVS to get a travel size conditioner. There does also seem to be sound transfer between the rooms, as I could hear the phone in the next room (presumably on a nightstand against a shared wall) vibrate like it was in my own room and I could hear people walking on the floor above me, but otherwise it seemed relatively quiet and I slept well. ||Overall, the staff were friendly, the room was fine, and I would stay here again.
