Second time staying here and I absolutely love this hotel, I’d probably choose to stay here anytime I’m in the area. First time I had a basic room and it still had a partial ocean view which was cool. This time I upgraded to the loft suite and it was so worth it, especially because the upgrade was very reasonable. 2 floors both with a balcony with an ocean view, so much space, clean, extremely comfortable bed. Front desk staff made checking super easy and quick. And housekeeping did a wonderful job refreshing and restocking my room daily while I was out. Ordered breakfast from them twice and it was delicious both times, and only 10 bucks for a burrito one day and waffles another. In Cali 10 bucks for breakfast is amazing haha. And they’ll deliver it to your room for a small service fee. The area was safe and they had plenty of parking. Best of all you’re a 5 minute drive from Hermosa Beach, and maybe 10 minute drive from Redondo Beach. Absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to return!

Paradise stay with local shopping centers nearby. I absolutely enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I came here with my daughter for her birthday weekend for spa treatment & relaxation. We enjoyed the magical views & the jacuzzi room. The amenities they provide such as body wash and shampoo was of great quality as well. The staff I saw throughout my leave or return were polite & welcoming. The beach views from the hotel are simply magical. It's a very clean hotel, and has very comfortable beds. You'll definitely be at peace throughout sleep. I will be returning. I'm definitely satisfied with our vacation.

Donot take a suite if you are older and need to get up at night. Spiral staircase and no lighting at night when someone else is sleeping downstairs on sofa bed! Also sofa bed was old and needs replacing! Springs are uncomfortable to sleep on! Breakfast is ok, but only is frozen sandwich that is microwaved. You n eed to buy it as is, no changing anything about it. Coffee was $3.79 a cup for the basic coffee and had to be charged to room or credit card. Far walk to pier but easy spot for Ubers to find. Close to airport ( 20 min) No gym just a yoga studio. Was too cold for pool so never even saw it. Not a bad place but needs updates. Stayed there 3 years ago and it was much better then!

We checked in last night, Christmas Eve. Quick, efficient, friendly check in. 2 things have blown us away so far, the beds are easily the most comfortable beds we've ever used. Literally like sleeping on a cloud. Amazing.||Secondly, we were greeted by Daniel this morning in the lobby. A big, teddy bear kinda guy working the front desk. He's incredibly friendly and even gave us a Christmas hug! Then, he proceeded to make us free latte's and hot chocolate for my son even though the restaurant is closed today for Christmas! Just amazing, amazing customer service and attention! ||We're loving Hotel Hermosa so far! Great view of the ocean and great location with everything someone would need close by. As we drove in from the airport we saw so many shopping and restaurant options within walking distance. ||Stay here, it's awesome!

Honestly it is clean and the beds are comfortable but it’s noisy. You can hear your neighbors. If you stay on the first floor the rooms are small. The first night we stayed we were near the street and it was just noisy due to the busy intersection and because you can hear your neighbors. We asked to be moved and they up charged 20 dollars a night for the “garden” view. The room was even smaller, next to the staircase, and the garden view is turf…. There are better places for the amount of money per night. I’m awake right now because I can hear my neighbors…

I've stayed here before, so the rooms were clean, as I expected. However, I booked the room through Expedia but Hotel Hermosa did not have the room that I Booked. There was an uncomfortable scramble to find a comparable room at the same price point, but there was no such room available. Poor communication between the hotel and the booking app made my stay less than memorable. The staff was friendly, so "Two stars"⭐ ⭐ and that's being generous.

We selected this hotel because the price was reasonable and the location convenient for the purpose of our visit. ||Pros: location, comfy bed, good size rooms, service ||Cons: NOISY on the “city view” side and barely able to sleep; traffic is constant and rooms are on top of the road and windows are not insulated enough. Shower pressure is low. Rooms are dark and lack lightning. Musty smell in the room.
