I absolutely love HomeTowne Studios Yuba City Bonanza. I stayed for two days in February 2025 with my two little Yorkie doggies. I am selling my house and needed to be gone from the house for the Open House.
I was immediately impressed with the friendliness of the young lady who checked me in, she was knowledgeable and thoroughly explained everything about staying there, the breakfast, the laundry, the dog park area, where my room was located. I was impressed with her genuine kindness to this older lady.
My room was very large, had a full refrigerator, very clean, very comfortable. I loved the location of the room, big parking lot, able to park directly in front of my downstairs room. Doggies had plenty of room to run around in room. The bed was so comfortable I slept so good. When I checked out, the clerk was so very friendly and helpful, we discussed my future stay at the motel when my house sells. Again I was impressed with the clerks sincere kindness to this older lady.
My house has sold and my new home will not be ready until first week in April. I have already made my reservation for March 18 - April 1 2025, to stay at HomeTowne Studios Yuba City Bonanza. There are more expensive motels in Yuba City, but this is my favorite, and I can afford to stay anywhere but this is where I want to stay. I love how comfortable I feel. It is older motel but extremely well maintained and very clean, it feels like a home for me and my two little doggies. I would never stay anywhere else in Yuba City.

I have been staying here for about a month due to needing to find a house i have nothing but good services and interactions. Kristen at the front desk has been helpful and understanding in our position that we are in and have taken care of me and my children and other half. I would stay here again and again if I ever needed a place.

This place exceeded my expectations. I expected that for such a low price the facilities would be in poor condition, but it was quite the opposite. Very good, spacious and quiet conditions, good quality breakfast and plenty of space in the dining room.

Kind of in remote area and noticed all the surveillance cameras. Pool not in service due to maintenance. Place seemed empty, so very quiet. Some parts were in construction/painting stage. Everything seemed to work ok, water pressure, a/c, hair dryer. Spacious because we stayed in the Hometowne studio part. Has huge refrigerator and average microwave. The continental breakfast|had decent offerings: waffles, assorted juices, muffins and snails, 3 choices of dry cereal, but had instant oatmeal too. A/c wasn't too loud, but bed could have been firmer. Christine( I hope that was her name) was very nice, helpful, friendly, patient and |even protective!! Thank you Christine!

Love this place for its cleanliness and the price . First time we stay 2 nights. And this is our second time, we stay and the got the weekly rate. Spent a night at Marysville motel 6 and Marysville American deluxe inn, and let me say Redroof was worth my money. Just staying here temporarily until I get my place. But will definitely be back.

Overcharged $100 for $75 room thats not worth $50. Disgusting, in disrepair, rooms smell of food and ashtray.

I made a booking on booking.com for 7 nights at Yuba city Hometowne studios hotel I went to the front desk at 1 Pm they said come back at 3 pm since room wasn’t ready I came back and asked if I can see the room before paying she said no but she said pay now so we can check you in then you can see the room and if you don’t like it we can refund you so we went to the room room number was #336 it didn’t have a kitchen but other location in Rancho cordova did and didn’t like the room so I went back to the front desk and said I don’t like the room she said we can look at the room on first floor I also saw that room it wasn’t good I spoke with the Indian manger she said she will give full refund and holding deposit because we didn’t like the room she was staying in her office and disregarded us waiting in the lobby and we waited 2 more hours and I spoke with the other front desk she didn’t help me and ignored my issue about the refund 2 hours passed front desk employee named alexia said “ Indian manger female went home “ and the same time police officer came and she lyied to the officer saying the Indian female manger went home than 1 hour later that day 1 hour after that 2 Sargent’s came and 2 officers than they asked to refund us they refused and the manger came out of her office that one who was pretending she went home she said she won’t refund because of the booking.com cancellation policy I have a email confirmation from booking.com saying front desk should refund 6 nights including holding deposit with free cancellation and front desk and manger is refusing to provide us a refund and the front desk manger yesterday promised me and the police and now not keeping their word and I also asked to speak with regional director the Indian manger she refused and smiled and I asked for a towel she didn’t give me a floor mat I still didn’t get my refund the Indian female manger was cursing at me and talking to Kristina and calling me names and being very unprofessional and told us she will call police on us and refusing a refund and lying and not keeping her word this is the worst hotel I ever been to and staffs are not keeping their word and thief’s and even lying to police officers and tricking customers and Indian and white manger female was cursing at me and threatening and male Indian was also threatening me and tried to act strong and tough and tried to scare me all staffs are tricking customers by taking their money very unacceptable and very very poor management
