One of the absolute best breakfasts I’ve ever had! Talkeetna Benny was just amazing - eggs were perfect with the smoked salmon and red onion jam on sourdough with just the right amount of salmon roe. Service was excellent and quick and there is a quaint feel about the restaurant.

Great food great service. Under new management. New menu- no huge menu but it's quality just right all home made items. Has everything you need. By far best food in this area thus far. The grits was amazing buttery. I ordered also on the side and was even better the flavors came through amazing. Tied it with their salmon. Great choice. The pastry is also hand made all amazing.

Nice, little place to eat! The seafood pot pie was delicious. The halibut burger was good and chips were nice and crispy. The crab hushpuppies were good too(had a mild sweet tinge though).

The Homestead Kitchen… Truly a homestead family environment. Great experience. I got the homesteader with bacon and potatoes. Sooooo delicious. scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly.

The restaurant was busy and our service was great. Our server had the best personality and took great care of us. The food is affordable and the environment is relaxing. I would highly recommend visiting.

On vacation, stopped by. Parking was a ways away, but even handicapped was a short walk away. Great Biscuits and Gravy! Best potatoes I've had in awhile too. Great bluegrass music playing. Outdoor seating available when weather permits. Wait staff (Holly) was very attentive. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

What a great place to stop by in Talkeetna. We orderd scallop and grits, the seafood gumbo and seafood chowder. We got the food super quick and the chowder was definitely a game changer. Our scallops were freshly cooked and delicious. Would definitely recommend stopping by this place.

We had a great breakfast with scratch-made biscuits and sausage and black pepper gravy. The biscuits were chewy and crunchy in the best way. The Talkeetna Benny was also very good, the salmon seemed freshly smoked and paired well with the onions and hollandaise. We are outside, they also had a patio and some tables inside. Service was friendly and the cabin atmosphere felt right at home off of main Street Talkeetna.
