Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tracy, an IHG Hotel - Tracy, California

The hotel is set back behind two gas stations and nothing around it but empty land. It has been renovated and is pleasantly upscale looking. We were greeted by a friendly host. Check in was easy and fast. The two queen beds suite was spacious with modern decor. The bathroom was also updated with tasteful clean look. Beds were soft and comfy. We felt like we were at a four star hotel but better because it came with breakfast. Food were plentiful and delicious. Check out was as easy as checking in. Fast and quick.

Awesome experience! Second time staying here always convenient and customer service is top notch! There may be newer options in the area but this one is feels almost like family. Great rooms, clean and comfortable with a staff that constantly looks after your needs!

The staff here are amazing! So friendly and professional. The hotel lobby was very clean and well maintained. We reserved a room with a spa tub and that's where there were issues. The spa tub jets were so loud that we couldn't use it. The towel rack and toilet paper holder were really close to just falling off the walls. The couch was absolutely FILTHY with visible stains all over it. We wouldn't even put anything on it let alone sit on it. The outside windows were dirty and there was a dead bird visible right outside the window. A little more attention to detail with overall maintenance would go a long way. We weren't there long enough (only 2 nights) to bother with complaining since we were out of the room a lot.

We were met at the doorway by the friendly doorway cat. The front desk person was efficient and polite. Fresh cookies awaited our arrival. Room was sparkling clean and the bed comfortable. Very nice breakfast room and the coffee was unexpectantly tasty.

We had the pleasure of staying again, for eight nights recently. Again, the hotel met and exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness of the hotel was 5-star quality. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered lots of variety and convenience. We chose to take it up to our room to enjoy and we did. From booking our reservation with John to our daily interactions with front desk staff to saying goodbye at checkout we were well cared for. We felt appreciated as guests. We have business here twice a year and will stay nowhere else. Great value, great service, and great location.

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Tracy a good hand full of times now and I wanted to say I enjoy my stay here (great staff and good breakfasts) but there are a couple things that would make it better: the shower heads are super short/low and being a very tall person (6’5”) I have to bend over to take a shower. This could be fixed by shower head extensions (I have seen them in other hotels) and would be a great upgrade for this location!

Also I would love to see more IHG hotel mini fridges have mini freezers in them as I work on the road a lot and like to refreeze my ice packets (especially in the hot summer months) to keep my beverages and lunch cool. This location does not have a freezer in the mini fridge and many other IHG hotels in California also do not.

it was a good stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful. the beds were ok. the hotel was very clean and presentable. there was a number of different restaurants and fast food places to eat around the hotel. i also felt safe to leave my work trunk outside with all my tools and equipment in it. all and all it was a good stay and would stay here again if i work in this area again.

For me, it was an outstanding stay. Everything was top shelf. Quiet, peaceful, easy access, clean spacious rooms, friendly personnel n a breakfast equal to if not better than some breakfast serving establishments.
