We had a great stay! Our trip got off to a very rocky start in LA, but Ari (the front desk representative) turned it around. She was so kind and helpful. She had amazing customer service skills. The hotel was clean, in great condition, comfortable, great location, great breakfast and best of all the hot tub was so nice to relax in after a long day. Would definitely recommend this hotel. 5 stars!

Nice hotel, bed and pillows, but too noisy with night traffic. Trucks running all night. Difficult to sleep even with a white noise machine. |I didn’t have this problem last time I stayed. So, it depends on where the room is located. Needs better sound proofing. |Also noted weird brown stains on the bath towel. Not impressed. Looking for another hotel in the area.

If you find yourself in Porterville needing accommodations, there is a Holiday Inn Express (HIE). I enjoyed my stay. Every one of the staff I engaged with was great. Helpful. I felt secure as well as my vehicle.

The walls were thick enough to muffle the sounds of the crying toddler next door and stomping children in the room above. Lucky me.

The rooms were modern and updated, aesthetically beautiful. Clean. Lots of USB charging ports. Relaxing vibe. My room had two queen beds. The mattress was medium- not firm and not sink in soft. The room included a microwave, safe, fridge, microwave, ironing board, iron, tv, K cup machine with coffee K cups, tea bags, disposable cups/lids. The room setup also included a closet, with hangers, clothes drawers, desk, office chair, and lounge chair. The bathroom water pressure was great. The water heated up quickly. They use unscented Dove products.

The pricing is on the higher end. But that's HIE for you. Comparable pricing to other HIEs. The hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, fitness center, work computer center, free WiFi, clothes washers/dryers ( not complimentary), and filtered water machine next to the fitness center.

The elevator is tiny. It seems to barely hold three adults with luggage and that's standing cozily next to each other.

The fitness center is small. It has two treadmills, elliptical, and free weights. The lounge area also serves as the breakfast dining area. It has a TV and hot coffee, hot water, tea bags, and hot cocoa packets are complimentary throughout the day in the lounge.

This hotel met our needs with nothing extra. Not many hotels to pick from in Porterville. Next time I may stay in Visalia.
The room was not filthy, but it was not clean either. Hair on floors, toiletries left behind or missed. Beds were clean. Carpeting was dirty and stained. The bathroom was freezing and I did not see a vent. No way to prop the door to let the room heat in.
Street racing woke us up a few times and guest returning to the hotel at 3AM, shouting and slamming doors (not sure they can control that), just people with no consideration for others. Not the best night sleep. I did not eat at the hotel, but the bacon did smell good as I left.

I liked the cleanliness, a good place to relax. How ever there is not something that is different from the other hotels. I travel a lot, and depending of my experience for sure I chose which hotel I want to stay. The lady who was in the counter, she was very attentive.

The bed and atmosphere was so inviting and relaxing that we sleep through the whole night. The shower helped our aching body from that days partying at the family ranch. This place a was a life saver for our last minute/same day reservation. That staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Front desk (Logan) was great! I arrived very late evening. He got me in my room fast. Breakfast was great. Great service. Nice quiet place to stay. That was my 2nd stay. I will do again!
