I sent this directly to the hotel several days ago, with no response.

I was a front desk manager for 10 years. Some issues happened while I stayed and I was unsatisfied with the following. 1. When we checked in, we commented how the lobby was very nice and inquired how old the hotel was, as it looked new. She couldn't be bothered to answer our question. Just a shrug. 2. I asked what time the pool closes (it was 930). She told me 11. Awesome. We went and changed and headed down to the pool. Once there, we realized there were no pool towels and we hadn't brought any bath towels from our room with us. 3. I went to the front counter to ask if we could get pool towels, or at least bath towels so we didn't have to go to our room and use the ones for our shower after the pool. The girl at the front desk was on the phone. I waited for her to be finished. About 5 minutes of waiting, another lady walked in and got in line behind me. During the front desk girls phone call, she asked at least 4 times for the guest on the phone to repeat their card number and telling the guest 2 times that she had gotten it those times. She should be able to enter a card number accurately well before 4 tries. I waited for around 10 minutes for her to finish her call. When she finally finished, she asked who was next. Obviously me, as I was there for 5 minutes before the other person. I asked for the towels. She told me that the pool towels were drying. I asked her if we could at least get bath towels. She said she would check on it, and proceeded to stare at me. So I assumed she would bring them to me. We spent another 20 minutes in the pool, and no one came in. So we walked, drenched to the elevator and down the hall to our room leaving puddles everywhere and used our bath towels that we planned to use for our showers in the morning.

I am not one to complain, as I know mistakes happen, but this was very troubling and not good customer service. The room was great, hotel is beautiful, but service felt like a cheap motel.

Really nice overnighter. Great clean rooms and the showers are THE best in any hotel ever. Staff are super friendly. Bed was extremely comfortable. Complimentary breakfast smells great, which we are about to devour! Decent coffee too, and in the rooms. What more can you ask for!

This is a wonderful hotel to stay at. Central location, easy to get to from the freeway. Very clean and taken care of. Our room was great, the hot tube was a very good temperature. The breakfast had food I could eat and very fresh. Check in was a breeze and we were in our room in no time.

I didn't catch everyone's names of the staff. Chris Merrow is the Chief Engineer at the hotel. Every time we saw him he would greet us. He seems knowledgeable and enjoys his work. We had several interesting conversations about the pool and hot tub, which he maintains very well. The pool area is very clean and the temperature of the hot tube is just right. It was snowing and we saw him outside keeping the walk way free of snow and ice.

The front desk people were so friendly and helpful when we checked in and when we got locked out of our room. They had us checked in so fast and in our room.

The kitchen women had the breakfast always stocked and fresh coffee to drink. The variety of courses were nice and tasty. I did wish they had real 1/2 and 1/2, but I am use to having to bring my own. The kitchen staff were always around so if you didn't find what you needed they were close by. The women were very friendly and would ask if we needed anything.

We have come to this hotel twice now and have had no complaints to make.

Really impressed with the quality of our stay here. The rooms were modern and clean, with great blackout curtains, responsive thermostats, and a variety of bright and calming lighting options. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Even numbered rooms have a great view of Mt. Adams and the Washington side of the river!

It’s a holiday inn, not super special or anything. The room was kind of dirty. The handles to the dresser/cabinet were oily with something and there were red splotches on the couch. The breakfast and hot tub were nice. My only complaint about breakfast is the lack of dairy free options, I want to put creamer in my coffee but there wasn’t any dairy free milk or half n half unfortunately. It was a good stay otherwise.

Room was spacious, clean, updated, well-maintained, with plenty of plug-ins but like most, lacking in lighting. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Pool temp and chemistry was great. Breakfast was OK - nothing special. Overall, a great place to stay.

We were very happy with the hotel's location, pricing and room quality.

What we were not happy with - We have a food allergy in the family for dairy and eggs, and the only breakfast option available here was stale bagels. Additionally, all the staff people we talked to were super nice, but it seemed like there was only one of them on the clock at any time and they were always stretched thin. Finally, somehow our stay was checked for a Greener Stay, which apparently means they won't change our sheets or towels. One of our kids had a night time accident and we stripped the bed and put the sheets at the front of the room, but when we came back to the room they hadn't taken the dirty sheets or left new sheets or anything. In the end, when asked they said we had chosen "Greener Stay" feature and they would not be changing sheets or towels. They unlocked it, but by that point we were checking out the next day.

Overall, still a great location with kind people and great location.

Always enjoy staying at this hotel. It is very clean and the staff is always very nice. It is in a great location and plenty of places to eat. The rooms are very nice and breakfast had plenty of choices.
