First let me say that the hotel was very clean and the staff is very friendly. Good complimentary breakfast.
That said, we had reserved an Accessible room well in advance. The bathroom was NOT accessible. There was a step over tub to get into the shower and no grip bar to hold onto. A person in a wheelchair could not get into the shower. Likewise, there was no grip bar next to the toilet.

Holiday Inn needs to retrofit the bathroom a get it up to ADA standards.

All in all I had a great stay. Lots of variety at breakfast and the food was good. Though the hotel was very clean, there was an overly strong odor of cleaning products. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. It was a very hard mattress and the pillows were too flat. Next time I’ll bring my own pillow. Otherwise everyone was knowledgeable and helpful and I enjoyed my stay.

This is my second time staying at this location in Brentwood. I usually stay in Walnut Creek, but my family is in Brentwood. This Holiday Inn Express costs significantly more than Walnut Creek, which is shocking to me. I visit every couple months but not sure I can keep up with these prices.
The hotel is very clean as well as the room and bathroom. Beds are comfortable as are the pillows. Just wish the walls were better insulated. My neighbor had their tv on and I could hear it through the wall. One of the nights I was there a group of guests showed up late form a wedding and were hanging out in the hallway in front of my door talking laughing and slamming doors. I went downstairs to let the front desk know of the situation and he called immediately to stop their party. It took a little while but the noise finally stopped.

Clean. The breakfast the next day was also very good. I would definitely recommend this property to other people looking for a comfortable staying in the area. booking. The room was easy and the property was well-maintained.

I am originally from the East Bay and during a visit back home, my family and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Brentwood. The location is great! It’s quiet and clean and the service is superb. Complimentary breakfast is always nice and had a fair amount of options. Really enjoyed 24-hr access to coffee and tea in lobby. Whenever we come back into town, we will definitely return to this location.

It was your basic hotel to lay your head down.

We got the king suite which had an interesting 'hosting' area.

The fridge worked and ice was down the hallway.

You can hear everyone's conversations, aka not the best instalation.

The employee cleaning up rooms knocked on our door an hr before check out time and asked when we were leaving 🙃

Employees were nice checking in and out.

I didn't go to breakfast but it's free and included!

The pool was drained.

Parking can get full at night!

aesthetically the room was fine . A shower cap would of been helpful. My problem was the bed bugs . My father has psoriasis and now will need to go on a strong antibiotic due to those bites. My mom and husband are full of welts . I brought my own blanket and now I need to throw it away.

Over clean room and facilities

Cons:
The air conditioner smelled like moldy wet dog when we used it.
The weather stripping was missing from the entry door, so the room was lite up by hallway light all night.
These two things made it impossible to sleep.
