Friendly helpful staff, early check-in after our flight was cancelled at Spokane Airport, timely 24 hour shuttle service to & from the airport for three of us and luggage and even shuttled us to dinner nearby and picked us up when dinner was over! Unfortunately, we had to leave the hotel at 4am to catch our rebooked flight, so we weren't able to take advantage of free breakfast. Hotel looked fresh and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Flatscreen TV was the largest I have seen in a hotel room. One drawback ... as is the case with many hotel rooms these days, there was no vent fan in the bathroom. Thanks for a great stay and wonderful service!

We checked into the Spokane Airport Holiday Inn Express and when we went up to our room with our room key, the room door was propped open, which was odd. The windows were also unlocked, also odd. We went into the room, and we were supposed to have two queen beds, but were given a room with 1 queen bed and a pull-out bed. The pull-out bed did not have blankets. The room was cold and so we turned on the heater and realized only cold air was blowing. After a couple of hours, only cold air was still blowing.

My husband went down to the front desk and they said maintenance was out, so they gave us a new room. My husband went to check out the new room, and when he entered there were swimsuits and towels flung everywhere. He realized the room was occupied, so he left and went down to the front desk. They gave him a different room; this one was unoccupied. The heater worked; however, you had to have it set to over 76 degrees for it to be warm air and it was constantly blowing, which was loud during the night. We did get two queen beds, though. The carpet had obviously not been vacuumed as there were chip crumbs everywhere and the shower had probably not been cleaned, as the shower floor was very slippery, as if someone had lathered lotion on it.

We used the exercise room twice (two different days) and both times the water cooler was completely empty. The sanitation rags were dry and there was no spray to use either, so you could not clean the equipment. The pool had towels flung around everywhere, that were left like that and not cleaned up until the next morning. The hot tub water was yellow and when the jets were turned on, gunk surrounded the edges, and you could see a clear line where it had built up and not been properly cleaned or scrubbed.

The front desk receptionist seemed to be the one taking care of the front desk and cleaning the pool and exercise room. It seems the cleaning crew is severely understaffed.

Stayed one night for business. They have a shuttle from the airport which was nice. Good staff. Nice breakfast. My room was large comfortable and clean.||I did get some road noise . Overall it’s a nice place. If you are looking for an airport hotel it serves its purpose but their are a few closer

The hotel and room are nice and clean, but housekeeping is on request. I understand not having someone come in every day to make your bed - but you even have to request more towels and toilet paper. The TV was nice and big, but channel selection wasn’t the best, you have to wait like 10-15 sec between each channel change for the picture to load, and there are no apps to use streaming services. Also the shower leaves much to be desired - it takes a long time to get hot water, the water pressure is pretty lame, and something is weird with the water - after you soap up, it feels like you can never actually wash everything off. I brought my usual soap and shampoo and never have this issue at home.

I stayed for work, which is conveniently in the same parking lot. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was super nice and professional. I had accidentally only booked 2 nights instead of 3 and it was fixed in a couple of minutes. I will be back monthly for work and any other time I just want to stay in Spokane.

We had a great stay - construction is complete and everything is updated. Room was very large and clean and blackout blinds were amazing. Friendly staff.
Breakfast had a lot of variety (not great quality, but good enough)

For parents of young kids:
Note that none of the rooms have bathtubs.
The WiFi quality was also not good enough to use a WiFi baby monitor.

Also note that there are no food options nearby so plan accordingly so you aren’t stuck buying single serve frozen meals in the lobby for like $8 a piece!

I stayed there starting on Friday, March 7th and checked out on the following Sunday. We were in town to attend a memorial service of a recently departed friend.

Because I am an IHG member, I often stay at Holiday Inn expresses.

I was surprised that after attending the memorial and returning to the room around 4, that housekeeping wasn’t done. We changed after the memorial, and on our way through the lobby, I stopped by the front desk to let them know that housekeeping hasn’t been done on our room, and let them know that we were leaving for dinner, in hopes that housekeeping would have cleaned up the room by the time we returned.

The front desk people, let me know that there was no housekeepers left for the day, and that I should have requested housekeeping upon checking in, which I didn’t know it had to be requested.They said it was because of the pandemic. Anyways, long story short, we never got housekeeping. This was disappointing, since we paid well over $500 to stay those two days, and one of the perks of staying in a hotel is the housekeeping.

On Sunday, I slipped while exiting the shower, and landed on the shower door railing on my arm. The railing cut a giant slash in my arm. I tried to get up after the fall, but I was bleeding, the floor was very slippery, and honestly, in the moment, I thought my arm might be broken. I yelled for my partner who helped me get up.i ended up wrapping my arm in two hotel washcloths, and I found duct tape in the car, and covered my arm so we could make the trip back home in Olympia. When I returned to Olympia, I went to the doctor to get checked out. It was (still is actually ) a pretty deep wound. Anyways, it was pretty traumatic experience that I wanted to share with you in hopes that the hotel would consider options to make the bathroom floor less slippery, and safer.

Cannot say enough about the staff at this hotel! Everyone we interacted with went above and beyond. Staff at the front desk were kind and helpful. Breakfast was great. The hotel room was very clean. Such a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend!!
