The holiday and vacation club was a really fantastic day. We were doing recon just the wife and I to see if it would be good for a family trip to bring the kids. It is definitely determined that it’s great for the family and also great if you just wanna go as an adult. There’s a very nice classy bar. There’s also an adult pool that’s 21 and over. The only downside is they should have an establishment next to the adult pole. That’s able to serve some food and drinks. Also, they have a little market and the hours for the market are not very good. The hours are 7 to 3 for the market and noon to eight for the bar and restaurant. The rooms were very clean and very nice. Everything was very new and well taken care of. The showers had plenty of water pressure. And the beds were very comfortable. Also, the furniture was very comfortable. The patio was also a very nice touch. There was an activity center with games for the kids and also shuffleboard with a little movie night area. One of the kids pulls had a bunch of really nice slides and water spray things there was also a baby pole. The rooms provide pool towels and a standard coffee maker. This takes the rounded flat bottom filters. The master bathroom has a double bowl sink in a very large walk-in shower. There is no smoking in the rooms and also no smoking on the deck. There’s only two different designated smoking areas on the resort.

I loved the resort itself; however, I was extremely disappointed in the service we received. In the hustle of packing up 2 children under 2, I left behind 3 articles of clothing that had some sentimental value to me. We called the very same day that we checked out and were told our room hadn't been cleaned yet and to call back the next day. We called first thing the next day and were told there was nothing found but to call back later again. Which was absolutely impossible because I told them the EXACT location the items were left with a very detailed description. We were told to fill out an online report which of course was no help. And after a month and several unreturned phone calls, I gave up.

I understand it's my fault for leaving clothes behind, but given how quickly I called and how descriptive I was, there is NO way my items couldn't have been located and returned. The staff did not remotely care or even attempt to help me. And for that reason, I will never return to this resort.

Great location and amenities. We didn’t get a chance to really use the pools but they were warm and the arcade / game room was great. You do need to pay for the arcade and other activities though. Other reviewers have called out the “thin” walls and we found that to be true. Fortunately, we had families with young kids around us so our kids running around wasn’t too bad.

This year my husband and I purchased the timeshare preview to consider purchasing a share, however this visit may have set our mind on that decision being a no and Scottsdale Club Vacation being a nice moderate resort. This was our 5th stay or so, and we typically enjoy it, however this stay had cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom, missing appliance parts, and a dishwasher that was burnt on the inside?

I was in town to receive surgery from Mayo Clinic that is only 10 mins from this location. The resort is conveniently located near shopping (driving). We like the heated pools, space the two bedrooms provide, and proximity to Mayo Clinic.

The rooms were clean and spacious. My family and I stayed in a two-bedroom villa. We were on the ground floor across from one of the pools. It is a smaller resort and everything is in walking distance.

There are 4 pools, I believe, one of them being more child friendly than the other. The food in the restaurant was so good! Much better than some of the other locations we have been to. The location was a bit inconvenient for us because we had to travel back and forth to Glendale.

Driving on the expressway was daunting but about a 30 minute drive. In Scottsdale however, everything we needed was close by, maybe a 10-15 minute drive away. Scottsdale was such a beautiful city to visit and we have already started planning our return.

I will most definitely come back and stay here. The staff was very helpful and nice, loved the location of this resort. The amenities are very nice, I love how large the bath towels are it made me go out and get new ones for my home. I would love to know what mattresses this resort has I want one for home as well. I can not wait to visit again.

Highly recommend it! We come here at least two to three times a year and always enjoy our stay. The signature villas are very nice and spacious! Management also really went out of their way this to accommodate our us with our handicap needs for our family
member. Very grateful and will definitely keep coming back and recommending the place!

I initially thought this hotel was great, but my experience quickly turned sour. On the second night of our stay (12/18/2024), we found a 2-inch cockroach in our bedroom at 12:30 AM. While the front desk allowed us to switch rooms, the process was incredibly inconvenient. We had to pack up all our belongings, move rooms, and unpack again—all in the middle of the night. This caused us to lose sleep and start one of our vacation days much later than planned.

To make matters worse, in the rush to switch rooms, we accidentally left our bath items behind. By the time we called the front desk at 9 AM, housekeeping had already thrown everything away.

What’s been most frustrating is the lack of communication and accountability. I’ve been told repeatedly that an assistant manager or general manager would call me, but I’ve yet to hear from anyone. No apology, no resolution—just empty promises that "the general manager will call after his meeting." It must be a very long meeting because I’m still waiting.

This experience has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I expected better service and professionalism from this hotel.
