I visited Madison back in October and stayed here. I loved it. I have cerebral palsy and use a power wheelchair so traveling is difficult for me. It was really easy for me to get into my room with the digital key. I used the skywalk and an elevator dropped me right onto the capital city trail and lake monona. Easy access for everything I wanted to do downtown. I was able to get over to campus. I really enjoyed it and will definitely stay here again!

Service was top notch; the front desk was very helpful, and the bar staff was very friendly and attentive to our drinks.

We ate at their restaurant, the service was really good and the food was amazing! There isn't a large menu, but we were happy with the options, and the appetizers and dishes we chose were very good.

Because of the amazing drinks, I honestly can't remember what my wife ordered, nor which appetizers we had, but according to the picture I posted (and from what I do remember), I had the roast chicken lol

Room: We stayed in the presidential sweet, the beds were okay, the TV in our dining area was not working. And the TV in the bedroom was not accessing Netflix but YouTube was available. I'm sure the front staff would have helped but it was late at night and just wanted to sleep.

We were supposed to have access to the executive lounge, but our key cards were not working. At checkout we told them and they compensated for the next time we visit any Hilton, we were very satisfied with the resolution.

I do recommend staying here if you are looking for a great view, access to downtown Madison and a nice hotel experience.

This is not a 4 star hotel by any means other than prices at the bar and restaurant. My room had holes in the sheets, garbage left by toilet from previous guests, garbage and beer bottle tops left in hole that bathroom door bolt goes in that appears to be years old, toilet was enormously loud from toilet fill valve & several markings on the walls by bathroom and HVAC unit. Was actually worse than a 2 star I stayed in recently as far as cleanliness. Definitely would not choose this hotel again at least not as a 4 star. I think they need to drop their stars to 2.5 maybe 3 at best. Definitely need better housekeepers or just need to pay them enough to actually care not sure which it is. This was just 1 room and I am not a picky person.. Can't imagine it's secluded to just that room. Oh wow imagine that the reply was an automated reply. Wow.

all TV functions didn’t work. Volume wouldn’t stop going up or down. None of the cable functions worked. Air conditioning in their room didn’t work. Staff seems like they should probably be in a different industry for the most part beds are extremely hard. Wasn’t the worst hotel but honestly, I probably would try to stay somewhere else if I could. if you have to stay here, it’s not going to be terrible. Just be warned about the things that I mentioned.

This hotel seems to go out of its way to make things more difficult for guests. We were here for the state wrestling tournament, but the hotel prioritized airline employees for shuttle service, leaving entire teams waiting or being told the shuttles will be going to the airport for the next hr.

When I tried to cancel a room, I was informed there would be a charge—which I was fine with. However, when I asked if I could just keep the room since I was being charged anyway, they told me it had already been canceled.

On top of that, the ice machine on our floor was out of order, and the heat in my room was unbearable. Even after setting the thermostat to cool, the temperature remained at 79°F. Overall, a frustrating experience.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are nice and clean, pretty location next to the river and very nice staff. We only stayed one night, but within walking distance of the capitol building and excellent food and bar locations. Would stay here again.

Beautiful property and clean rooms.
I forgot my coat in the closet and didn’t realize it until a few days after I checked out. The manager generously offered to cover the cost of shipping it back to me. Great customer service!
