After having a disappointing stay the previous night at the Embassy Suites in Temecula, we booked in to the Hilton Garden Inn a couple of minutes drive away. What a difference between the two hotels. Both part of the Hilton group. Overall a positive stay with a few small negatives.
The hotel and our room was reasonably new, clean and modern looking. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfect if you are bringing your dog. They charge a non refundable 75 bucks for the night and you get a doggy gift back at check in. We were in room 230 . It was a nice room but its location in the building wasn’t great. Next to the ice machine, elevator and laundry room. We got a lot of foot traffic going past our room. Not great, especially if you have a dog. Somebody was playing music in the corridor at 6am. Bit rude.You could hear the elevator door ping every time it opened. Room 230 is close to Jefferson Rd and does get a bit of traffic noise. The shower was fine with a decent water pressure. Breakfast was nothing special, just okay. What we liked was that we were allowed our dog with us. Some places ask you to eat outside if you have a dog with you. We ate away from other guests as some people can be a bit funny about pets in eateries, which I understand. The reception and bar/restaurant area is bright, spacious and has plenty of seating. The hotel has a small pool with a nice looking courtyard to hangout.
Parking was $10 per night in an underground garage that has an elevator.
Overall a good stay, in a hotel that’s near old town Temecula and straight onto the 15 if you’re heading to San Diego. We would stay here again but not in room 230.

I booked a two night stay here. The first night when I showered, the bath tub did not drain at all and I was standing in used water which sort of defeats the purpose of showering in the first place. The sink also did not drain. It was very late so I didn’t contact the front desk about it right away because my toddler was sleeping and I didn’t want to have to deal with packing up everything that we had just unpacked and move rooms (I’m a single mother traveling with a toddler). I did not get any rest that night because all I was thinking about was how I was going to have to wake up extra early the next morning, just to deal with this problem. This is something that should have been noticed when housekeeping cleaned the room prior to our checking in. This is not something that a guest on vacation should have to deal with especially with the price of the room. The front desk was accommodating when switching our rooms the next morning, however, the sink in the new room also doesn’t drain and the new room seems to Have way more wear and tear than the first room. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. The pillows are lumpy. The pancakes at the buffet tasted inedible. I really expected more from this hotel given the reputation and the price. Also there needs to be a stool or something for children to reach the sink in the bathroom

The hotel has its pros and cons. I appreciated the spacious lobby area and the fact that they were accommodating while our kids played around—especially the energetic 7-year-old from the soccer team! The rooms were large and nicely maintained.

Parking is $10 per night. Initially, I thought it was pricey, but after paying $25–$40 per night at other hotels, it feels more reasonable in comparison.

On the downside, the washing machine was out of order, and the pool was quite cold. Breakfast was decent, and as a family with kids, we appreciated that it was included with our reservation. Thank you for providing fresh fruit—it was a nice touch. Reflecting on our stay and comparing it to other hotels, the overall quality wasn’t bad.

It was our worst experience at our last weekend at Hilton. The housekeeping service is absolutely terrible. We did our booking starting from Thursday as we were supposed to reach by Friday noon. No one cleaned our room on Saturday after the repeated request. No one get in to take out the trash as well. When asked for more towels, they were out of towels since one of their washing machine broke down. On Sunday morning, I requested the housekeeper to take away the trash at least. She told me to handover the trash cans to her and then she emptied it out. We were not expecting to have a Four Seasons service from Hilton but hoping for a decent stay. It was an absolute disaster.

Really nice new-feeling hotel, was impressed by the cleanliness and friendly staff. Convenient mobile check in/check out. AC in the room didn’t work so well and room service is every other day.

beds were firm and felt new. Room seemed clean and tidy.
Cons: there was a loud thumping noise that started in the afternoon or that we noticed in the afternoon and went all night. room 110. It sounded like it might have been the elevator? we checked out at 10pm. inquired about a refund but was told that they checked the room at four in the morning and didn’t hear any noise so therefore I couldn’t get a full refund just 25%.
This is not right we came here due to a power outage. from one problem to another. We didn’t get any rest. end up, going back to our home with the power outage and sleeping there. Freezing but atleat no loud banging every 10 seconds. lucky if we get a good 10 min no banging.
loud banging, and the way they handled my complaint. I will give this hotel 0stars. And i do not recommend. I must also mention that there was hair in the shower no bag in the trash.

What an amazing hotel. They are dog friendly and give you a nice box of goodies for your dog. The service is amazing too. Lydia especially at the front desk was amazing helped me to check in and she was very respectful and on it. Overall the hotel seems very new and clean!!
