Honestly, this is a really decent hotel at this price. Location is alright and the rooms are decent. Rooms are equipped with everything you may need during the stay. The fitness center is pretty decent for a hotel. You only get 2 water bottles throughout your stay as per hotel policy and this is something I didn’t like. The restaurant although small offers really delicious dishes and the staff are really courteous and polite whenever you ask them for anything. Overall I’d recommend this to someone looking for a place to stay in Palo Alto.

Decent location although there aren’t a lot of walkable restaurants. As other reviews indicated, avoid the fourth floor as there is a very loud AC unit that comes on frequently. Sound insulation isn’t that great either. Food in the restaurant was very good — dinner and breakfast.

Not very good experience here. 1: The showerhead has very low water flow. To Save the water? 2: nobody using pool and spa, because of looks like nobody clean the pool? 3: not very quiet , cannot get a good sleep. Neighbor in my upstairs, making noise from 1am to 4:30am. What’s good then? Breakfast cost $24.99 buffet is same as other hotels, nothing special. Secured parking spot cost $20 a day. Free two bottled water. Overall is not very good experience here.

Easy check in and good service at the front desk. Joe at the bar was super welcoming and made for an awesome time. A very lively bar that made for a super fun environment for our group. Joe was a great conversationalist and gave us great local recommendations. Would stop by the bar if in town-great drinks & great environment- led to a great stay!

I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel with less active management. The staff were delightfully helpful in every department, but they weren't being supervised. The waffle batter had gone off, 2 days in a row and then I stopped trying (I was there for 7 days). The oatmeal was almost pure water with a few oats floating in it (every day; I checked). Salt and pepper shakers didn't shake. Fruit was spoiled and NO JUICE offered for a $30 buffet breakfast? Breakfasts are just as good (and free) at the average Clarion. Bartender didn't know how to make a vodka gimlet, and was astonished to discover he only had well vodka (again, supervision). My room rate included daily snack bag which I did not get on check in, and then only 2 more times (out of 7 nights). An elevator broke down, got fixed, and broke again. Housekeeping was to be every other day, but didn't, despite starting at 0730, to include loud radios in the hallway (my room was made up ONCE). It's like the management is just going through the motions and just raking in the substantial room rate (and there is NOTHING convenient to this hotel on foot.)

The hotel is nice and customer service is OK sometimes they’re a bit slow. The breakfast is expensive and the pool is cool even though it’s indoors. The hot tub is not as hot as I would prefer, but it does the job. The rooms are clean the beds are hard and the pillows do not give much support.

As I Hilton Diamond member I have never felt more unappreciated! The guy at check-in had absolutely no idea what he was doing! I booked this room somewhat close to my office thru my work booking portal. When I arrived they charged my personal card not only for incidentals, but for the whole entire stay! I talked to a manager THREE TIMES who assured it was a mistake & that it was reversed!
I thought upon checkout I'd get the $1100 back but nope, here I am, a week later still waiting & fighting for my money back. How can they charge two credit cards for the same room? Ridiculous & they even confirmed they had the correct card on file!
There was no Diamond member daily food & beverage credit and the $24 buffet is what you get free at other Hampton Inns. Also after checkout- I got a $14 charge for 2 bottles of water! I would not stay here again when in the area.

It's a Hilton Garden Inn. Comfortable room but very plain. No issues with the room at all. BUT - DO NOT spend money on the breakfast buffet. It seems like the same breakfast you get for free at lower level hotels like Hampton Inn and definitely not worth the money. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance that will be a much better breakfast experience.
