I sat down in their seating area, surrounded by pictures of classic cars and automobile paraphernalia. I ordered their Mushroom Swiss burger as a basket. The burger was juicy and delicious and enhanced with their house sauce. The fries were crisp and hot and perfect for dipping into their fry sauce. The drink was cold and refreshing. Basically, everything was exactly as it should be. The price point was good. I am a fan and I will be returning.

We were heading home from the great wolf lodge and after a day of mundane, bland, over expensive food we searched the area for something that looked good and found the Highway 12 Drive-Inn and boy am I glad we did.
The service was great.
The food came out super quick, hot, and delicious.
My picky 8 year old even loved it.
We got burgers and chicken strips, with mozzarella sticks and Mac and cheese bites as an appetizer.
The prices are excellent for the portions you get and the fact 6pc mozzarella sticks were only $4.99.. 😋
I love finding these small town restaurants. Do not pass by this place. You won't regret eating here.

I love little diner’s! This one did not disappoint! My hubby and I both had a hamburger. Delicious! And the fries? So yummy! Ask for the fry sauce. Our server was always making sure we had what we needed. Definitely will return.

Went through the drive through. Took probably about 25-30 minutes to actually get our food.. which was then, mediocre. I was so excited to get my local diner burger with a regular fry and fry sauce. If I knew the fry sauce was just mayo and ketchup, I wouldn’t have paid extra. The burgers were great. Fries were undercooked and/or cold. We will probably try again in a couple months.. hoping this review is taken into as constructive criticism and they get better. The two people behind us didn’t even order and pulled out before we got our food.

TIME CAPSULE. Behave and enjoy real old-fashioned drive-in. THE FOOD IS
GLORIOUS. Like it was in the 50s.
Prices are Great for the Huge Portions
Next time ,I will make sure I am really hungry so I can handle more then the insane portion of my Perfect Mushrooms.
Can not wait to go back next week.

This place is a gem! Food is always hot, delicious and made fresh! Love the burgers! The meat has amazing flavor, the cheese is always spot on, the veggies are fresh and delicious and the house sauce just brings it all together with the butter toasted buns.

The Sidewinder Jo's are consistently crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and never super greasy. The prices are fair and the staff inside are always polite and service is great.

I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a great burger in a tiny town. Five Stars for sure!

The food was fabulous, and the service was great. My only complaint was we went and they didn't have ice, so I wasn't able to try a milkshake, which I was told are very good so we will be back.
