I stayed at their sister property, the Sarah Miller House, in Wellsburg for two weeks and absolutely adored my stay. It was very comfortable, cute, and the hosts were so accommodating. If you're thinking of booking here, do it!

Chapman and Harry could not have been nicer, and we had an amazing stay. We were passing through Wellsburg on a big road trip, and booked a stay at Barn With Inn on a whim. Wow. We stayed in Hazel's cottage which was clean and cozy. In the morning we were able to enjoy feeding time with all of the animals and had a perfect breakfast in the farmhouse. We can't stop talking about what a great experience it was (and much more memorable than just staying in a motel). Will definitely be returning and recommending to other friends driving through WV.

I am not a big fan of B&B because I find it creepy staying in someone else house that I do not know. However, this place is excellent. We rented both of the room in the barn and it was great. The rooms were very comfortable. The former horse stable has a huge walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head, ample seating space in the room but a very nice porch to enjoy the evening breeze and the sounds of the country and a great place to have coffee in the morning (coffeemaker in room). My daughter and granddaughter stayed in the upper room that used to be the hayloft. It has a large area for seating and space for meeting friends. We could look out of the windows of both units and see the barn animals which was a thrill for the 5 year old. Chatman allowed her to help feed the animals including hand feeding Cooper the pig. Needless to say she was in "hog heaven". Chatman is a fine cook and breakfast was good and ample. He also gave us some great info of local attractions including the Good Zoo. The zoo the perfect size for our granddaughter and her two cousins who live in WV. They had a great time and it was hard to pry them apart when it came time to leave. Emmy began to cry the night before we left because she didn't want to leave the farm and her new friends Dave the cat and Buddy Ray the dog. The next morning we had to promise to return within the next year before she would get in her car seat! So we will return and next time we will attend the dinner with Chatman and Harry at their supper club in Wellsburg. Overall it was a great experience and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Love, love, love Barn with Inn. This is the second time we have stayed with Chatman and Harry and we cannot recommend their little piece of paradise highly enough. The ultimate hosts who make you truly welcome. Fine food and wine, warm, very comfortable accommodation in a picture postcard setting. If you don't like animals however, this may not suit, as there are numerous dogs, cats, and farm animals. For us, it was perfect! About a 45 minute drive from Pittsburgh, it is well and truly worth it.

We stayed here for two nights and it was the best experience possible. The owners where very friendly and went above and beyond at every opportunity. The animals where friendly, the farm was relaxing, and the food they served us was some of the best we have ever had. We are so happy we stayed here.

Innkeepers Harry Sanford and Chatman Neely provide a peaceful place for rescued animals on the farm, a terrific bed and breakfast and a wonderful picnic for the classmates. Delicious Scottish eggs are their signature delight and the food was fantastic with Charman's wonderful suger-cream berry pie. A live duo played familiar songs while we ate under tent in the yard, toured the farm and visited the animals. We had a great time sharing our birthdays. After wards a few of us went to a Bed and Breakfast at the Sarah Miller house also owned by Harry and Chatman which had recently opened in downtown Wellsburg. Once a month Harry and Chatman are a player in a progressive dinner with appetizers at the Family Roots Farm owned by Brittany Farris, dinner at Drover's Inn and dessert and music at the Barn With Inn. Monthly dinners at the Barn With Inn and the Sarah Miller are also available. The picnic was the best thanks to Harry and Chatman.

The Barn With Inn is a B&B located on a working farm in the hills of the Northern Panhandle of WV. It sits on a gorgeous 36 acres (see photos). We stayed in the hay loft of the barn but it was anything but rustic. Very comfortable suite that overlooked the farm house. Breakfast each day was eggs and vegetables from the farm and other items locally sourced.||||Chatman and Harry were personable and very gracious hosts. We were made to feel at home from the minute we arrived. Both gentlemen work the farm and host the B&B. Harry is also a very active veterinarian so many of the animals on the farm are rescued or surrendered. The animals are very much a wonderful part of the atmosphere at the B&B.||||If you like animals this is the place for you. Multiple dogs and cats along with a potbellied pig named Cooper free range the property. There are chickens, 3 other potbellied pigs, donkeys, goats, sheep and two miniature horses. We learned that "feeding time" wasn't just for the animals (a fun experience in which to participate) but for the B&B guests as well. Usually a cheese, meat and cracker snacks along with your choice of red or white wine. Wonderful to enjoy sitting around one of the fire pits on those cool fall evenings. ||||Our favorite aspect of our stay was meeting and getting to know Chatman and Harry in addition to a couple of other guests. One of the most relaxing weekends we've had in a very long time.

Our stay here was great! Chatman and Harry were great hosts. I think a stay at Barn With Inn can't be talked about without mentioning all the animals and how welcoming they are; there are too many to mention here but some shout outs to Mavis, Jesko, Daphne, and Cooper.
We are already planning our next stay and attending one of the dinners the Inn sponsors.
