They are kind of slow—although their staff were friendly my barista extracted my espresso and left it on the counter too long. This is not acceptable. I didn’t say anything because I wasn’t gonna come back.

Shop space is cute and hippie. Had a wooden toy kitchen for kids to play. Doesn’t make up for expired espresso.

This is my absolute FAVORITE coffee shop. All the baristas are awesome! So friendly and kind. The music is always on point. Their drink choices are delicious with monthly flavors make it exciting every time I come in.
They sell art and goodies from local artists which is amazing. They also have a cork-board of drinks people have pre-purchased that you can cash in when in need which is truly amazing way to give back to the community. I wish they had a community wall for local events. They have removed many of their vegan food and pastry options over the last year so that’s why I rated food a 4. I come to this coffee shop once a week and absolutely love the vibes all around. It’s a great place for a date or to sit and work. My one complaint is one of the pinball machines is really loud and I can’t hang out in there while someone is playing it.

STELLAR coffee shop. I passed through with my family on our way to San Diego and I found this place on yelp and so thankful I did! I’m a huge believer that coffee shops need to have a curated vibe from the exterior look, interior decor, and music. This place hit all the marks. I loved the deocr, the furniture, the playlist, the gift items that were for sale, all of it.

I got an iced snickerdoodle latte with oatmilk. For those who like their lattes on the sweeter side without going too overboard, i recommend this. For food, I got the Spicy Lox avocado toast and MAN WAS IT FIRE!!!! The perfect combo of ingredients. My family got an acai bowl, almond croissant, and pesto capresse and all were 10/10s! Service was amazing as well. Would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again.

Decided to give this place a second try after last time ordering food and there was mold all over the fruit. I came here again because I like the atmosphere, but after today won’t be returning due to food quality and service from the cook. I ordered two drinks and two breakfast toasts and tipped well, the total being 50$ just for a breakfast for two only to be disappointed again. Only one of my orders came out, and after kindly asking the lady where my second toast was she was rude and said she’d make it and I waited another ten minutes watching everyone else who ordered after me get their food instead of me. It took almost 40 minutes to get two pieces of toast and she was completely rude about it, worst customer service experience I’ve had in a while. On top of that, my “spicy lox” toast was not even toasted, barely any avocado, and poor quality fish. Such a sad experience because I begged my girlfriend for us to come try this place one more time cause I thought it was cool, won’t be returning.

Small coffee shop located inside the Plaza de la Paz shopping center, right next to Sprouts. They offer indoor/outdoor seating (even bar seating!) and sell coffee, food and pastries, as well as some boutique-like trinkets. They share a large parking lot but note that this plaza tends to get busy!

Loved the chic, somewhat retro vibe and atmosphere. Prices were reasonable, but service and flavors were just alright and their tables were really stained. Would consider coming back but I think I'd take my stuff to-go instead of staying.

This coffee shop is what we needed in our town. I am so happy that High Tide decided to open this location. The espresso drinks were fantastic, the interiors are simple but elegant. We havent tried any of the breakfast items but will do it in earliest opportunity.

Awesome second location (their first is in North Beach, San Clemente). Great interior design that encourages flow and interaction with baristas and the community. The location is great too: right next to Sprouts, with plenty of parking.
We had the ricotta almond toast which was delicious and filling, but not overwhelming. Chai latte was just as I like it—so smooth.
This is such a nice, local coffee shop to have, amidst the sea of corporate chains in this area.
