Our family enjoyed a fabulous day put together by Rafe! We couldn’t be happier with the amazing cove and beach he took us too, full of wildlife and the most amazing views! His boat was great and he is a terrific and safe captain! We can’t wait to come back and do a multi day trip with him!!

Rafe was born and raised in Sitka. He knows the area better than anyone. He led us on an amazing adventure. He knows the history and he was fantastic at showing us around. We saw plenty of wildlife and were thrilled with this tour. He now owns a smaller boat too, so maybe you can book a private tour. We would do this again for sure!!

This was without a doubt one of the best highlights of our trip to Sitka! Rafe gave our small family a once-in-a-lifetime experience complete with stunning wildlife views of eagles, sea otter, and humpback whales, as well as some excellent fishing just a few miles out from town. Besides being an excellent captain he was a terrific and patient teacher when it came to helping our girls fish for the first time, and they each brought in some impressive rockfish that we took home to cook into the most delicious fish tacos we've ever had. If you're looking for a stellar trip out on the water, with perhaps the most down to earth and capable captain in town, on an absolutely gorgeous boat, this is hands down the tour you want to book. We can't wait to go back again!

Amazing trip exploring Alaska. Rafe knows the area better than anyone and helped us have the time of our lives. We saw bears on our trip (which was a bucket list thing for me) and caught lots of salmon and Dolly Varden on the fly. If you want to see the real Alaska and get away from the crowds, this is your trip
