ADVENTURE ⭐️ QUALITY ⭐️ LOCATION ⭐️ CONSISTENCY

So beyond happy to find this little gem on Bainbridge Island, a quick five minute walk off the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal.

Being the first one off the ferry, there was no line by the time I got there, but the line did increase as I was enjoying my food outside. I advise you to get there early, and then then site-see the rest of the island, especially the Eagle Book Store, after eating.

The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Especially Kouze, who was working in front of the house and came outside while I was eating to ensure my order was right and to my liking. Really appreciate her friendliness and personal interaction, especially as the day progressively got busier.

I got the very picturesque variety tray for sashimi, which included the most delicious, fresh, tender, and tasty Japanese style seafood ever.

I also ordered a bowl of their famous clam chowder, with the spicy ra sauce on top. It was so heavenly I bought a jar of the sauce to take home.

Along with a side of white rice, these few options were more than enough for two people to share.

The Yuzu hot Toddy or the Gin Moscow Mule were absolutely delicious.

10/10 Can't wait to come back again.

Absolute gem of a local dining establishment. Was worried it might be too kitschy or touristy due to its close proximity to the ferry terminal, but that couldn’t have been more wrong.

Staff and overall environment was unique, extremely friendly, and inviting. A unique spot I hope sticks around. I will be back and recommend to others

Recently had HI LIFE’s salmon poke bowl and tuna poke bowl and holy moly it was the best poke I’ve ever had.

Had a lovely cocktail there as well and the space is super cute.

Great spot to get amazing quality poke for a fair price.

Exceptional authentic Japanese. The Salmon sashimi was so fresh, it practically had a heart beat! And the sukiyaki beef bowl will bring me back for more. Wow!

The absolute best ramen on the island and in Kitsap Co. Their homemade ginger ale is unbelievably delicious and spicy, I love it plain, in a Moscow mule, and in their new hot tea! This is my favorite restaurant on the island, hands down.

The best poke bowls we had since Hawaii! We got a traditional salmon bowl and tuna yuzu aioli bowl and both of them were super fresh and full of flavor! They have inside and outside seating and the girls behind the register were exceptionally welcoming! Highly recommend!
