Great fresh food. Hectors offers vegetarian options on their menu and can also adapt many of their regular meals to be vegetarian upon request. Best local restaurant in Rainbow City. We will be back to try dessert and coffee next time.

Cuban food!!!!!
Tell Yo what you'd like, everything is delicious!!
I had the Beef Rice Bowl, they give you some plantains with it. If you've never tried them you should!! They're wonderful!
We also got the Cuban Sandwich which comes with chips and salsa or cheese dip.
They have a wide variety of things to try and discover.
Great drinks and a great dessert menu.
You have to stop by!!

Our first visit it was excellent, Cuban sandwich with a side of Tostones , it was delicious, it was huge , we shared it , I will return. The flavor was amazing

This place is great! It is a great addition to the community. I love to get the surprise empanadas! The hectors sauce is spicy but phenomenal and makes the dish even better! Their soup is great when you have a cold! I think we could eat here on a weekly basis. There is room to sit outside and inside. They have fun drinks and desserts!

Nice place to eat. I would have given it 5 stars but there wasn't very many options for those who do not like meat. I ended up getting an appetizer for my meal (which was very good!) because of the limited vegetarian choices. However, the rest of my family (husband, granddaughter, daughter, and son-in-law) loved their dishes.
The restaurant itself is quaint. Not a lot of seating inside but extra seating outside. On a warmer day, we would have been happy to sit outside. It's very nicely decorated, warm and cozy.
The one bathroom (shared gender) was nice and clean.
Our server was very pleasant. Very helpful in the beginning. However, she didn't come around much after bringing our meal. My husband had to share his water with me and my daughter had to ask another server for a go box.
A nice little touch...they have little paper discs and sharpies and encourage you to leave a note.
The prices are reasonable for the drea and the cuisine. For a party of five , we paid between $75-80 (before tip).
All-in-all, I would recommend Hectors because it is so something different. And if you are a neat eater, and most people are, there's plenty of dishes to make you happy.

The food will make you feel good! I’ve been to Hectors numerous times and never left without being completely satisfied with the food, service and environment. The staff makes you feel at home and the food is nothing less than exceptional. Had the breakfast potato consume with poached eggs along with some guava butter and fresh fruit. Ordered the iced Columbian coffee with the homemade creamer and it was stout and sweet! Definitely recommend

One of the best place that I ever try. Really friendly place. people are really nice and kind. They will help you with anything. The food has a really amazing flavor. They even make everything from scratch. I really appreciate how much time they take on your food with the love they make it. It’s really amazing. Every other restaurant that I have try I can it’s too salty and it taste like can food. But this one everything taste fresh. The coffee taste amazing even better then Starbucks. With fresh coffee beans I love how they can make as sweet as you like to unsweetened but tasty. I highly recommend.

We are from out of state and stumbled upon Hector's. We have never had Cuban Cuisine before. We started with Mimosas, street corn, jalapeño cheese sticks and chips & salsa, all of which were so good. We finished it off with a Mojito, the Coconut Wrap and Cuban Pork Plate...it was all SO delicious and the waitress was one of the best ever! So happy to find this place and will def revisit if we are ever in the area!
