Very clean, friendly staff, super comfortable king size bed. Only complaint was hot breakfast items were barely warm, waffle machine was out of batter and employee who takes care of the area was sitting in her office on the phone. Other than that it was a very quiet and refreshing stay

I've been traveling regularly to Bridgeport for over 7 years now, I've stayed at most of the hotels in the area, but these days I will only stay at this Hawthorn Suites. It is always well maintained, comfortable, and has all the features I want in a week long stay away from home.

One of the big draws is the customer service at this hotel. Whenever I come to them end of a long travel day and walk in the front door and see Chris or Dylan staffing the desk, I know I'm going to be taken care of.

From making sure my needs are met, helping me with my booking, or providing a simple travel necessity that I forgot at my last stop, these guys have my back.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bridgeport, WV!

If I had one "complaint", it's that I'd like biscuits and gravy as a breakfast option more often! 😉

We come to stay at this hotel often due to medical procedures my kids have to have done at the hospital across the street. We stay a week while they are recovering and then drive 5hrs home. This is the perfect accommodation for that purpose. The mini kitchens are perfect to throw together a quick meal if you want. The fridge is a great size. They give you pots/pans kitchen gadgets to be able to use. The bathroom is spacious and accommodating for limited mobility. The extended room with a couch/bench and the table/bench is perfect the medical situation as well allowing multiple seating positions and space. The staff is incredible. Always courteous and kind and helpful. It’s so close to shopping for any needs and the close proximity to food is also helpful.

The rooms are exceptionally clean and quiet. Pet friendly with no outrageous pet fees. All the staff are very nice and kind. Great place to stay with your furry friend. Highly recommend!

This hotel is very lovely, from the comfy beds and bedding to the clean grounds and excellent breakfast. Check in and check out is a breeze. Room was immense and had all the necessities. Easy on and off from highway 77. All and all a very pleasant experience and eateries within walking distance.

Great Stay!!! Last minute trip to take care of family business and chose Hawhthorn Suites! Front desk staff was great and quick to get me checked in. the room was spacious and had my own little kitchen which is a wonderful option to have, and spot on in the cleanliness department! Breakfast was a great start to my day when it was time to check out. Fresh hot coffee 24 hours! thats a plus! will definitely be back to stay again!

What a pleasant surprise! Had never stayed at a Hawthorn, but found the public spaces, rooms, and breakfast all VERY nice! Great staff at check-in and check-out (also the same guy keeping an eye on the morning buffet supplies) were all exceptional. Can easily HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel.

We were in town to attend a funeral and needed a place to stay for one night. This hotel was the perfect find. Easy online check in process. Clean rooms, nice amenities, close to nearby restaurants, gas stations etc. Will definitely stay here again.
