Ordered takeout and the food was not great. Our order was two of the grass fed beef burger salads with fries. First the order was half the size of what was pictured online. Second, I live on island and was home within 3 minutes of picking up my order, which was still being made when I got there. Everything should have been fresh and it was not. The meat on the salad was so over cooked it tasted like dried out rubber and was ice cold. And the French fries were also ice cold and tasted like they’d been sitting out for several hours. I’ve heard great things about Haps and sadly, I was not impressed. Maybe it was off night for the them but I don’t think I’ll be back

We were looking for a lunch place and found Hap’s. 🍔 Loved the cheeseburger! Soft potato bun, patty was flavorful with fresh lettuce and tomato. My hubby had the BLTA! Wow! Thick crispy bacon, generous amount of avocado plus fresh lettuce and tomato. The fries!!!! Hot, crispy and thick!! Get Hap’s sauce for dipping.
Fabulous staff!!! A+ service. Loved the vibe in a re-purposed gas station. When in Mercer-don’t miss Hap’s. ❤️

Yummy gluten free burger! Worth it even if you don’t live on Mercer Island! The dine-in vibes are fun on a nice day and even on a not nice day if you dress WARM! Lots of bevvie options too alcohol and non-alcohol and the shakes are DELISH! The fries are great-ask for them with salt only for gluten free!

Stopped to eat at Haps for the first time during Summer Celebration. Glad we did. Haps has beer on tap and will fill growlers. Good to know. We enjoyed the burger, fries, and chicken sandwich. I thought the Haps sauce was especially tasty on the burger and fries.

After they closed and reopened, I believe the burger quality has gone up substantially. It is absolutely one of my favorite burgers place in Seattle matter fact in Washington state. Amazing staff and amazing burgers with incredible fries and hopefully incredible beers soon. I’m so proud of this local business and I’m happy that they stayed open on Mercer Island.

Great food! We ordered the Hap's burger with fries and the chicken sandwich. Good service and a cool gas station/diner concept! Perfect for Covid times. Warm, outdoor seating - protected from rain and wind and spaced out nicely. This place is my new favorite. Love the music playing, as well! 🎶🎵

Great place with lots of choices including vegan. The fries are particularly yummy. We had Haps burger and a grilled cheese with bacon & avocado, perfect! The building is an old 76 gas station and they have covered outdoor seating. They serve sodas, shakes, beet and wine.
