I'd probably give the hotel overall 4* but Gaby at the front desk was so helpful to resolve an issue with Hilton Honors (they won't allow you to modify your reservation once you check in without the manager's approval) that I'm feeling 5* about the place. Breakfast a little better than average. Very quiet. Hotel bar tempting although we didnt take advantage of it. Location across from Sutter Clinic a bit funky. Several good restaurants within 5 minutes drive.

The service was a bit sketch and inhospitable by a couple of workers. No patron tired and having surgery paying $$$ for this place wants to be treated rude by hospitality workers . The manager was great and apologetic gave me some extra points, yet it isn't enough to cover for the night I couldn't sleep due to their lack of hospitality and alarms going off. There was zero staff present when another patron and I asked why the alarm sound in wee a.m . hours. We chose another hotel when we came back to Santa Rosa the following week, and it was amazing it was called La quinta, super new quiet and close to stores, dining even Costco! Don't think we will ever come back to this location it was the first time ever had issues at a Hampton Inn in my 55 years....

This hotel is pretty new and we were very pleased with how clean everything was. Due to a delayed flight, we were not able to check in until after midnight, and the man working that night was very kind and helpful. Our room was on the 4th floor and had a large window overlooking the parking lot. We ate breakfast 2 mornings and it was perfect. It included scrambled eggs, sausage links, waffles, diced potatoes, omelettes, biscuits & gravy, oatmeal, and a variety of cold items (yogurt, fruit, etc…). The hotel is in a great location and a very safe area.

Really great hotel - everything is top notch. Eric the manager was awesome as well - he helped me out with an issue. He was kind, understanding, and accommodating. The rooms are new, clean. The location is good. The manager is kind and efficient. Top marks all around

Marija at the front desk is fantastic and helped make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. Clean, spacious room and great service from all the staff.

Well equipped 24 hr fitness center for the space: Dual cable machine along with a bench and free weights, plus treadmill/elliptical/bike for cardio.

Hot breakfast was included with my room and very convenient. Location is not walkable to downtown Santa Rosa but 10min drive/Uber. Hotel bar serves beer and wine only, limited bar food menu which I did not try.

I booked and chose the room from hilton honor app. When I arrived by 5pm, the receptionist told me that the room is still occupied and I need to change the room. I got surprised, but anyways I chose another room. The next day, I requested in the morning around 8:30am housekeeping. After I came back around 5pm. I have noticed the room was not cleaned!
When I talked with the receptionist(another person), I have been told that there was not a request added to the system, and the young lady, by whom I requested housekeeping in the morning, forgot to add the request to the system. Of course, that was weird to happen!
I hope the manager on duty takes care of such cases. I think Erik is the manager on duty.

Nice and new, great rooms. The kitchen is only open for breakfast. There's a nice bar downstairs but no bar food. They advertise food, bottomless chips, and typical bar fare, but the kitchen is closed, like every time. My 4th stay and there is good food nearby but not the point.

When checking in early this morning, the desk clerk advised me to park close to the building as they experienced some intermittent flooding in the lot. What he FAILED to inform me of was the flooding that routinely covers the only exit to the street and is currently covered with 6-12 inches of water! Hotel staff was well aware of the problem and didn't think it pertinent to share with guests.
