Newer hotel with clean rooms and a decent breakfast spread. Beds are pretty comfortable. Rooms are spacious and quiet with lots of parking available. The breakfast had better/healthier choices than other chain hotels of the same class. Not too far of a drive from the Golden 1 Center. Would stay here again.

The hotel itself is okay, but it is located right next to some train tracks. The train goes by fairly often and you can hear it every time.
They could also use some maintenance and better housekeeping. When I first entered my room, there was some sticky substance all over the wet bar that cleaned up easily with a damp rag.

We stayed at this hotel because I had a medical appointment at UC Davis, which is a 6 hour drive from home. It's a strange location for a hotel, but felt very safe and it was a clean and quiet area. The hotel was new, and extremely clean and comfortable. All the rooms are pet friendly, however there is carpet instead of wood flooring. I feel flooring is a better and cleaner option, even without pets. There is a fee for parking, which I find annoying. An excellent free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, a convenient and quick drive to anywhere we wanted to go, and a decent price for a Sacramento hotel. Staff were efficient and friendly enough. I do have to go back to Sacramento for another UC Davis appointment, and I will stay at this hotel again.

I know this is delayed, but I owe this great place a great review. I arrived in Sacramento on July 15 in need of a room and saw the hotel as I flew by on the freeway. Turned around and arrived with 15ft uhaul full of horse tack to be donated to a rescue in Georgetown. The staff, food, room and pool were exemplary. I felt absolutely safe and all of my expectations were met and exceeded. Checkout after breakfast on the morning of July 18 with a sack of snacks for the road. I would recommend this hotel 100%. Sometimes it's worth paying a bit more for quality.

The Hampton inn does not have very good customer service. I booked this room with them so that my college son would have a room to stay in while he waited for me to pick him up for his Christmas break. However the stuff would not let him check into the room after I specifically booked the room for him because he was not 21 and they sell alcohol. This was a total inconvenience due to the fact I was driving 6 hours to pick my son up and wanted him to be comfortable until I arrived. After arriving and getting into the room the AC was blowing and it was 49° outside and the staff nor the owner could get the heater to come on. After driving 6 hours I was not in the mood to change rooms so we slept in a room where the AC kept cutting on and off all night, this was a horrible experience and I will never booked with the Hampton inn in any City ever again.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is exceptional friendly and wants you to have a good experience. Alfred, who manages the breakfast process is friendly, quick to identify people's needs without being asked, and has the ability to interreact with different people.

There were so many mixed reviews that I decided to pull into the parking lot before I actually booked my room and was pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was. They had some sort of a tour bus in the morning so the breakfast was bombarded in trash cans to full and such just because of understaffed but everything was there otherwise. Room was excellent and clean.

We stayed here for 5 nights on business and it was perfect for us! It’s super clean and quiet. Great fitness center! But what really made our stay was Alfred in the kitchen! His work ethic is outstanding and it really shows! The hotel should hold onto this employee and give him a promotion! He was on top of it during breakfast hours and talked to every single person to make sure we all had what we needed! You can really tell he cares about his work. Thank you Hampton Inn for a great stay! Good people!
