Great experience! Last minute trip but the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hot tub was under maintenance but the pool was open. A little over chlorinated. I broke out in a rash with raised welts after a 20 minute swim, my boyfriend was okay but he started to turn a little red after a while. He wasn't as bad as me. My entire skin turned red all over my body from neck to feet (not on my face as I swam with my head up). As soon as I rinsed off and showered it started getting better. The next day I was completely fine. Be ware if you have sensitive skin. I had never experienced that before. Other than that, the stay was great! Clean rooms, able to check in early, and there were waffle makers at the continental breakfast! Would book again if in town (probably would skip the pool). Not a luxurious stay but meets all the basic needs.

I booked Hampton Inn & Suites Murrieta Temecula ahead of my surgery on 3/26/25 for 3/26-3/27. I needed to check in early after surgery, (around 1 pm) so I called on 3/15 to ask if I could get an early check in. Instead of compassion, I was told to book the night before to ā€œguaranteeā€ a room. So I did—amended it through Hotels.com, for two nights (to account for my 3 extra hours) to 3/25–3/27.

When I called the hotel on 3/25 reminding them that I would be arriving on 3/26 I was told the reservation including 3/25 didn’t exist even though I had the email on hand. I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes by an extremely rude front desk employee named Geena, who laughed on the phone, did not listen with intention and refused to help. I also spent 30+ minutes chatting with Hotels.com support while they got the same misinformation. Hotels.com blamed it on Hampton for not having the additional night, and Hampton said I had to book through their website for the additional night. All I ever needed was one night (3/26-3/27) and an early check in which I would have eagerly paid for.

I had to book AGAIN (another booking for 3/25-3/26) directly through Hilton just to make sure I had a room after surgery to cover the 3 hours before regular check in time. I was ultimately charged for three nights when all I needed was one night with early check-in. Up until this point no one offered an early check-in fee and no one fully listened to what I was saying and they denied it when I asked. No one showed any empathy. Just incompetence, wasted time, and zero accountability.

I ended up showing up early on 3/26 because it was all a fiasco instead of at 1 because I had to make sure everything would be ok when I got out. Kelly was there and while she much nicer she never fully heard the entire confusing story because she interrupted me as I tried to explain it. The answer should have been from the jump - you will have an early check in! You don't need two nights. That's true customer service. Instead I have paid for 3 nights when I needed one. I have since elevated this all the way up, next step is the BBB. I have attached both bookings showing the same date.

As a Hilton Honors Gold Member, this experience was incredibly disappointing. Do better.

We recently stayed here and were extremely disappointed with their lack of transparency regarding fees. I booked through Hotels.com ā€œpet friendly hotelsā€ and at no point during the booking process or check-in was I informed of a $75 pet fee. It wasn’t until I checked my credit card statement that I noticed the unexpected charge.

When I politely called the hotel to address the issue, I was told that the pet fee is posted on a sign in the elevator, something I obviously didn’t see. They refused to remove the charge, even though it was never disclosed upfront.

This feels like a hidden fee that should have been clearly stated during booking or at check-in. I would not have stayed here had I known about it. If you’re traveling with a pet, be aware that they may sneak in additional charges without proper notice. I won’t be staying here again.

Front desk service is horrible, especially Natalie. We are lifetime diamond members and have never been treated so badly at a Hilton property. Here are some examples. Quiet hours at this hotel are posted as 10pm to 6am. We complained about the room above us having kids bouncing around at midnight. Natalie’s reply: ā€œkids will be kids, nothing I can doā€. On another stay, we arrived very late at night and asked for 1 hour late checkout. The night desk clerk said he couldn’t help us. We asked Natalie in the morning and she said late checkout was not available. After further discussion Natalie said if my attitude was better she might be able to help us out. So is there a policy or it’s up to Natalie? We will be avoiding this hotel in the future.

Stayed here for a soccer tournament nearby. Prices of rooms were inflated to resort level pricing for the weekend. Room we stayed in had no hot water for entire stay. Front desk response was to say that yes the room did have hot water. Hot water never worked in shower or either sink in room. No effort made by staff to find a solution. Room was in so so shape, fixtures hanging on by drywall screws... carpet pretty dingy. Definitely charging top dollar for mid to sub par level amenities. They tried to charge us for parking without even mentioning it even though we were riding with another family to the soccer tournament and didn't park there. Overall a disappointing experience.

Was charged a $75 pet fee that we were never made aware of staying for ONE NIGHT. Called and spoke with an extremely rude person at the front desk who explained that there’s signs in the ELEVATOR?! Who is ever looking for fees in an elevator? This should be made apparent when booking the room. Will be filing a chargeback and will never stay here again.

Newer hotel. Very pleasant check in. Large clean room. Next to the freeway but unless you looked out the window you wouldn’t notice, it was a quiet room. Stores, fast food and cafes near by. Had breakfast it’s ok. Very much appreciate the 24/7 coffee service. Will return and do recommend.
