A Wonderful Stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Mission Viejo

From the moment I arrived at the Hampton Inn & Suites Mission Viejo, I was thoroughly impressed. This property exemplifies the perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and outstanding service, making my stay an absolute delight.

The hotel’s design is modern yet warm, creating an inviting atmosphere as soon as you step through the doors. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a genuine smile. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident throughout my stay.

The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and productivity. The plush bedding ensured a restful night’s sleep, while the well-appointed bathroom added a touch of luxury to the experience. I particularly appreciated the in-room amenities, which included a coffee maker and a mini-fridge—small touches that make a big difference.

The perfect spot to stay the night however the $250 safety deposit was unexpected and if it's going to be that much they should make it clear before making the reservation. Thy free breakfast was good and my bed was very comfortable, but I was expecting the same $50 deposit, luckily I had enough to cover it, there have been times when traveling when I've had to put so many deposits down I would of had to sleep in my car. Again it's $250 and your can hold that for a week, be careful.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Clean and nice location close to the freeway. shout out to Bryant from the front desk. He was great at helping us with changing our room super fast. the pool was closed for our whole stay so that was a bummer but its chill.

The hotel was very comfortable, clean, and the room was very spacious. The folks at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming when I checked in. Parking is also pretty easy. The hotel is about a 25-30 minute drive to Disneyland. No complaints. I’d stay here again.

Great & convenient location. Nice hotel. Front of building parking can get tricky. Rooms are standard and what you would expect at a Hampton. This is the 2nd time I've checked in to a Hilton Brand as a Hilton Honors and wasn't offered the incentives, so maybe that's not a "thing" anymore. Staff was kind, but forgot to call once my room was ready. Easy stay.

Room was large and QUIET. I was concerned the rooms might be noisy being that the property is very close to the freeway. I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious, clean and nice the rooms are. More importantly, you don't hear much noise from outside. The person who checked me in (I think his name was charles) was very friendly and helpful but they had a different crew in the evening. I smiled and said hi as I passed by but they just looked away so I can see why some people would say they're not very friendly. 1/2 star off for poor water pressure and insufficient lighting. They have ample parking and do not charge extra for parking. I would definitely stay here again.

Easily one of the worst Hampton's I’ve been to, and I average over 150 nights a year in hotels. Front desk person “Bryant” has zero personality and outright lies about Hilton policies. Absolutely terrible on every level. Stay elsewhere; there’s nothing in this area and the lack of customer service is alarming. This guy is a complete zero; in fact, most of the staff isn't very welcoming or helpful. The irony is there's a sign in the lobby that reads "We aren't happy until you're happy." That must explain the misery this place exudes.

Bathroom doors don’t fully close; showers lack pressure. Internet is so slow and unusable, it’s a joke (4mpbs was the fastest speed we saw).

On top of it, the windows and walls are paper thin and the floors transmit noise so you’ll hear people talking, sneezing, coughing, and walking around all day and night. If you’re looking to rest and relax, this won’t be the place for you.

The dagger is the beds are far too uncomfortable and smelled of B.O.. Yay.

I booked a room here for my boyfriend’s birthday since it is close to Laguna beach and relatively affordable with nice amenities. Unfortunately, by my mistake, I booked the room for the wrong night and because it was a special rate for Hilton honors guests, due to policy there were no modifications or refunds. After attempting to resolve the issue with the front desk and Hilton honors customer service, the next morning I spoke to a supervisor by the name of Michael who was extremely helpful in moving the reservation to the correct date.

We were extremely grateful, however, after arriving at the hotel we noticed a neighboring guest must have had a dog in their suite who was very upset because it was barking and howling non-stop. After me and my boyfriend went to dinner and came back, it was well after 9pm and unfortunately the dog was still loudly barking and howling. I’m usually not one to complain but we did call the front desk to see if they could speak with the owner. Brian, who was working the front desk, attempted to speak with the pets owner and offered to move us to a suite to be away from the noise. Our experience was great and the staff really went above and beyond. 10/10 recommend 🙂
