Great spot for the price listed. The staff (cleaning and front desk) are all so friendly and made the stay very enjoyable. Shoutout to Gloria at the front desk she was very sweet and accommodating. The free breakfast was a nice touch.

Had a wonderful time staying here with my family! Rims are clean and spacious. Was great to have them come in and freshen up our room while we stayed. First day was worried for my sanity cause the pool had to be cleaned and my son was bugging me to let him go. But where able to matter in the day. It’s so nice to stay at a place where it’s clean and the employees are willing to go above and beyond! Want to hop on the fact our room was next to highway but it is what it is . Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

I am not sure how old the hotel is but it looks new and fresh. Cleanliness is alpha and omega for any hotel and I found this Hampton to be spotless. Everything worked and looked very nice. The bed was great and furniture in the room comfortable. A lot of good places to eat dinner close by in town just across I-84. Excellent place to stop for the night as I did or stay a few days to explore the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent experience. Staff were very nice, room was clean, and it was an easy walk to the downtown area. Beautiful view too. There is noise from the highway but it wasn't horrible and the fan made it just fine. Breakfast was good.

Our stay here was thoroughly enjoyable. My husband and I had a long journey, which unfortunately led to my husband feeling unwell due to motion sickness. However, Amy was incredibly sweet and accommodating. She made sure to take care of us and made several adjustments to ensure our comfort. We definitely plan to return in the future, as our experience was so positive.

We requested an ADA compliant handicapped accessible room 2 months in advance of our stay. My daughter could not even get close to the toilet, much less on it, and the shower was not remotely accessible.

Another family was there having the same problem.

We were repeatedly told "I'm sorry," but no offer of a discount was provided. Clearly reservations by untrained staff were taken that could not be fulfilled, but no promise of improved training of staff was offered.

There was no indication of intent to improve in the future.

Avoid this hotel if you have a disability.

We were upgraded to a riverview. The room was...roomy, comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The view was pleasant, and we could see kayaking just off the shore.

The bed was comfortable, although it did not have a box spring. It sounded like a metal spring and was noisy when one sat on the bed edge. There were sufficient blankets to be comfortable.

The bathroom was spacious, and the shower was safe for me, who needed mobility aids, like grab bars and non-slip surfaces.

The main issue was you could hear noise all around the room, from upstairs, downstairs and on the same floor. We were able to ignore it, but if you are looking for quiet, this is not the place.

Staff at check-in & out were friendly and efficient.

I would return here in the future.

We had a great stay at the Hood River Hampton Inn. Jenni at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond for us - upgraded our room to a suite and later accommodated a special request for us herself when her help wasn’tdue to arrive until later. The suite we had was very large, extremely clean and quiet. We used the pool and hot tub - everything was clean, towels stocked, etc. The continental breakfast was the best we'd had on our week long trip - lots of choices for hot food (sausage, eggs, potatoes, waffle bar, oatmeal) and there was a large selection of breads, cereals and fresh fruit. The river front area adjacent to the hotel was fantastic for our 4 legged companions as well. We will definitely be staying here again, couldn't recommend it more!
