I was not a fan of this Hampton. Positives-Good Rate and that's about it. Negatives-Expensive parking, front desk at check in was not friendly, loud rooms. When we checked in we asked for some water, since we are normally offered free bottled water for being an Honors member, but were told no you can buy some bottled water or pour some in a cup from a pitcher on the counter. Our room was facing the highway and it was loud from the highway noise, so try to get one on the other side. The worst part is the expensive parking. Out of 5 other prosperities within a half mile, this property is the highest priced one in the area. The Fairfield Inn next door is free. I wish I would have clicked on the property details to find that out before booking. $15 a night for a non downtown/tourist area is highway robbery to me. Next time we will go somewhere else.

Pet friendly doesn’t mean pet friendly. They charge a fee not a deposit. And they don’t care if you have the paperwork that your animal is an emotional support animal. The fee will still be charged. I have no one available to watch my baby and I’m here for work this isn’t something that should be charged. If it was a deposit I understand why. But to be charged is crazy to me. That’s like being charged for something that more than likely won’t happen but it doesn’t matter if it doesn’t they charge anyway. Don’t bring your pets with you here not truly friendly here

Thank you for making my birthday amazing. I was out of town on a training week with my company and the crew here made my birthday great considering the fact that I had to be away from home. I even come back there now anytime. I have to stay in sacramento no matter where.Because I enjoyed my stay so much.

I was up in the area for tennis sectionals and I booked my stay for the wrong dates. Denida and Malyn went above and beyond to help me and were fantastic. They found me a room and made the experience incredible. The hotel was perfect for the stay and really appreciated them going above and beyond.

I've never written a less amazing review for hotel before, but I was not happy with the cleanliness of the room. Upon arrival, there was gold fish and other trash between the beds. We turned on the HVAC and it smelled the cigarettes. My daughter was sensitive due to history of asthma issues and was uncomfortable throughout the whole stay.

The bathroom soup was not replaced, still used and left by the faucet. There was few blood drop spots on the wall by the bathroom light switch which was so disgusting.

I'm a Gold member and was not satisfied with my stay.

The food though was great and the Customer service was amazing as well.

Positive: The room was clean. Breakfast staff were very friendly. Negative: We got there and they had canceled our reservation almost leaving us without a room. We booked the hotel mainly for the indoor pool, when we went to the pool there were over 30 people in the small pool and another 30 or so around the pool getting wasted.

Disappointed in the hidden rates and extra charges they don't tell you about when you make reservations.
They don't tell you your deposit amount until you get there.
You find out you have to pay for parking? Why? The parking is empty (at least when I stayed)
They don't inform on the phone and or the website. The website doesn't say anything about parking fees!?
That's ridiculous!
I'm gonna sue my research..
You think you're getting a great rate.. with $60-$70 on top of that.
The staff was very nice and friendly.
When I called to ask about the fees?
The representative was very rude and unapologetic. 👎🏼 Bad look.

My husband and I came to town last week for a wedding. We got up and 2 a.m., left the Oregon coast at 4 a.m. and arrived to the Sacramento area around 2 p.m. it was a loooong day and we needed some restorative rest, badly, to join in the wedding festivities the next day. The room was nearly $300/night or $1100+ for the entirety of our 4 night stay, so I figured i wouldn't need to pack a hair dryer or fresh towels with which to wash my face. The "fresh towels" folded on the counter had thick black hairs woven throughout. The toilet tank had been shattered and was "glued back together." Umm...What.. ? I was willing to overlook both. However, when I laid down on the bed... the headboard actually was at a downward angle of many degrees, putting us at a downhill slope. We had to put our pillows at the FOOT OF THE BED. Umm...WHAT...The mattress was hard, lumpy, noisy, and was the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE bed I HAVE EVER PAID MONEY on which to lie. It was INTOLERABLE. I didn't sleep a wink and actually cried I was so exhausted and frustrated. During my sleepless night I took the opportunity for good look around and O.M.G. EVERY corner of the room had caked dust, webs and either one dead mouse or a petrified dust bunny...? I didn't get close enough to verify. YIKES!! There was broken glass on the bathroom floor, thick dust on outlets and EVEN a dusty, old garment that someone left ages ago...still lurking behind the dresser. The carpet was old and gross. The fridge had a layer of dust on the top, a funky smell inside along with a large ice block in the back that needed to be defrosted... MONTHS ago... The next morning we went down to see the GM, Suzanne. We went down 4 times before she rolled in at the crack of 9 a.m. when we were told she was expected "around 8." Way to set the bar low...GM. When I showed her the photos of the MANY examples of filth AND LONG TERM neglect, her eyes got big, she comped our room and we moved to the LOVELY Hyatt Place right across the street where the entire hotel was SPARKLING, the staff was attentive and the FREE BREAKFAST BUFFET was actually edible!! Here's where things REALLY went south.... she told us to put the sign on the door when we left to the wedding, to prevent housekeeping from entering our room and that we could check out AFTER the wedding. We STILL moved our stuff out of the room but came back to check out and do one last sweep of our gross room to make sure we didnt leave anything. When we got back, our room HAD been entered and "cleaned" as the beds were made up, etc... BUT... ALL THE DUST IN ALL THE CORNERS AND EDGES, the BROKEN GLASS, the filthy outlets and EVEN THE OLD MAROON GARMENT was STILL BEHIND THE DOOR!!! AND.... Our key still worked!!! We again spoke to the GM... and we shared our SHOCK that our room had been entered and that it STILL WASNT EVEN CLEANED! Even the petrified dust bunny was still lurking in it's corner!! This is an example of pure laziness, complacency and just not caring. I have photos I hope to post soon.... THEY SPEAK VOLUMES.

Room 307.

You've been warned!! Safe travels to all.
