I do not have experience with providing ratings appropriate to the class of venue. This hotel is excellent for budget roadside travel. Really did check most of the boxes.

The staff at this hotel are wonderful. Shout out in particular to Anthony who was solicitous and a delight when I checked in . The morning desk person Carla was equally kind and helpful. They genuinely do and want to run a quiet comfortable and accommodating highway side hotel for travelers

I am not looking for luxury in roadside long distance travel. Hampton fits the bill. It is clean albeit a bit tired.

There are a few things travelers need to know. The chemicals used in cleaning by Hampton and the bleach in the laundry would be too much for chemically sensitive people. I don't care for the smell but did not experience significant impact.

The front desk dealt with the smoker on my floor according to hotel policy.

Dog friendly. Met some lovely dogs and owners.

The rooms are genuinely comfortable and well appointed. Very quiet.

There could be a non slip bath mat for the shower for those of us less secure on our feet but it's not critical as there is something to hold onto.

My kids and I stopped here on the way home from Wilmington. We stayed for one night. Everything was great. The rooms/ bathrooms are spacious. We used the pool numerous times. Breakfast was decent. Complimentary hot coffee all day was so great. There are filtered water stations for easy cup filling. Beds are comfortable. There was a AC unit we could control in our room which was great. The location is perfect, right off the highway. It is close to many restaurants and stores. The staff was friendly. It’s a perfect hotel to break up a long driving trip. They let us check in early. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if driving through. I felt safe staying here with my kiddos. Thanks to Hampton Inn staff for making our night stay comfortable!

Overall, this hotel was an excellent choice for my stay in the area. I was driving in and out of Bluefield each day, which was just 16-20 minutes of gorgeous scenery each trip. The room was clean and the mattress/bedding was so comfortable. I chose a fifth floor room with a great view. ||The breakfast in the lobby was decent for what it is. I don't eat bread/bagels/waffles/biscuits (they had all of this), so I stuck with the hot dish of the day. Two of the days it was scrambled eggs (egg beaters) and sausage patties. The middle day was a fiesta omelet, sausage links, and breakfast potatoes/peppers and that was all filling and delicious There is also fruit and yogurt (just sugary yogurt, though, and not greek w/probiotics). If you're traveling with kids, there is milk and chocolate milk they might like. One of my days I had breakfast across the highway at Dolly's Diner, which I highly recommend! Make sure you get there at least once! ||There was always coffee, tea, and water for guests in the lobby as well. The staff was all very friendly--Anthony being the most standout. That guy is seriously gifted in making people feel welcome and seen even as they're just passing through. I will for sure be staying with this Hampton Inn again when I come back to the area next year!

Hotel conveniently located off the interstate, lots of nearby restaurants and shops... Rooms are clean and comfortable. Upon check in we were greeted with a warm smile and friendly gentlemen named Anthony. Anthony could not have been more kind or accommodating. We would definitely stay at this property again...

I stay at Hilton 2 - 3 days a week and really appreciate how personable and welcoming the staff at Hilton - Princeton have been. Anthony is a great asset to the Hilton brand giving each guest a smile and assistance. I have been all too often met with an uninviting or surly reception by someone who just wants to get you out of the way and go back to their own business. Rooms and rest of hotel are well kept from my experience.

Anthony was exceptional on our check in. He was absolutely professional and handled our current booking and he was extra helpful with another booking that was made by mistake!! Thank you!
I didn't get her name, but tha gal taking care of the breakfast area and all of the duties that goes with it. She had everything full and clean!! She deserves to be tipped!! She worked more to serve many than a typical waitress would, show your appreciation!!!

5 stars across the board! Wonderful staff! Anthony and Heather that I spoke with at the check in desk were phenomenal! Great representatives of Hilton. Delicious breakfast that was well stocked, and a newly renovated bathroom and pool. I will be back in Princeton around June and will surely stay here again!
