Spent five nights recently and this was the cleanest Hampton Inn we've ever stayed at. The initial identification of this were clean-as-new filters in the HVAC unit (at may other hotels I've had to clean them out). Part of my daily routine are stretches - found they use some kind of powder when vacuuming to keep things smelling fresh, and while down on the floor for stretches, I saw various lower parts of furniture that usually doesn't get cleaned/dusted at other hotels.||Beyond the cleaning, all the staff were friendly and, if needed, helpful.||Breakfast was beyond just a great Hampton Inn meal - the staff stays on top of things and keeps the food re-stocked. Dropped in just before 10 AM to grab a muffin and the tray was full!||The stay was a weekend bracketed by weekdays. While it was busy, we always found a parking space in the lot. The adjacent hotel is also a Hilton property, so there is some parking lot overlap.||There were some issues with the back and back/side doors - the electronic key system failed during our visit and all guests then had to enter via the front door. Staff explained the issue in detail and were exceptionally apologetic to the guests about it.||The rooms have a microwave, coffee maker, small refrigerator, but no alarm clock. There is a clock on the microwave. The lounge and desk chairs were sufficient for us. ||While it is across the street from the airport, we did not hear much noise from it. The room we selected was near the furthest point from the airport. ||Highly recommend this hotel!

We had an amazing stay at Hampton Inn Carlsbad for my son's birthday! A huge shoutout to Jillian, Jasmyne, Reese, and the sales manager for making it so special. They surprised us with a beautiful cake and a thoughtful greeting card—my son absolutely loved it! The hospitality was outstanding, and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Thank you for the exceptional service! We’ll definitely be back. 🎉🎂🎈

I always book with Hilton branded hotels out of personal preference. I am giving this hotel a 2 star rating Instead of 1 star because of its location, reasonable rates, and complementary parking. ||We received free parking, however, the parking spaces are tiny so watch out if you have a larger vehicle as some people take up 2 spots to fit their vehicles so the spaces might run out at night. Something was wrong with the heater and air conditioner in our room and we had a choice of extreme heat or freezing temperatures, there was no happy medium. The door to the bathroom has a really bad design flaw and they should have invested in a barn door or have an inward opening door to the bathroom. You basically have to walk along the wall to close the bathroom door behind you to get to the other side of the room. We also noticed that the door has no stripping on it and you can see into the hallway at the bottom of the doorway! Lastly, the people at the front desk were unfriendly. We got to the hotel late and I was thankful that I did mobile check in with the Hilton honors app so that I did not have to interact with the person at the front desk. They look at you as if you don’t belong instead of a simple greeting. I am the one that said hello first. Sorry this is a Hampton Inn, not the Waldorf Astoria!

We just returned from a Club soccer trip and I can not be happier with our stay. Andrew at the front desk was so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay the best we have had so far. That is saying a lot because our team has already traveled 4 times this season alone. The whole hotel was clean and room were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had so many choices. Red velvet, cinnamon roll and pumpkin spice waffles!!
When we travel back to San Diego I will make sure to suggest they get us in the Hampton inn Carlsbad.

We reserved a room block at this hotel for our wedding this fall. All of our guests who stayed were very happy with the hotel and commented on how nice the staff was. Destonie, the sales manager, was the one who helped with getting the room block and she was so kind and responsive with any questions we had. She also went above and beyond by letting me use the conference room to do hair and makeup with my bridesmaids and she even left balloons, flowers, and a card for me the morning of! Would highly recommend working with this hotel/staying here!

Checked in on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. A sign in the bathroom said housekeeping was scheduled “every other day.” So, that means Friday, right? Nope. When we returned to the room at dinner time Friday night, beds remained unmade and there were no clean towels. We opted to check out early and stay the last night with a relative. This is a nice hotel with pleasant employees but someone is cutting corners. For a three night stay that cost $700+ there should have been at least one visit from housekeeping.

Me and my family booked a night here because we came to lego land. The hotel staff was very friendly, upon arrival they informed us of the breakfast hours. the room was very clean. The pool also very clean and well maintained. Manager Chris was great very professional, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. At checkout he offered us waters for the drive and honestly he made the stay that much more amazing. He goes above and beyond for his guests. Definitely will be coming back soon. Thanks Chris.

Hampton Inn you can Not go wrong. Nice clean rooms always and great beds.|The Breakfasts were top tier. We stayed 3 nights and there was great food every morning. something new or switched out daily. Nice little pool area that felt larger than it was. You will love it. It was a great stay.
