Had to opportunity to dine here during our stay in LA for my 40th birthday. I booked here because I enjoy places with a certain motif. Anyway, I had by recommendation given to me by a member of the staff to get to Country Breakfast Burrito. Let's just say nothing short of everything a brother needed. Capachino was great, my fiancé had the flight mimosa trio. This became a highlight of our stay. Great rooms and great food. Gonna go for another round and try something different tonight before the Rapsody concert tonight.

The place is very cool and welcoming, the staff is friendly and kind. The food was absolutely amazing, I tried their truffle mushroom burger and I highly recommend it. I had their mimosa flight so I could try the different juice options they have and they do have a good variety. The juices they used seemed fresh and natural. I will definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.

We didn't think the outside area was open and we had our small dog with us. But they very nicely put us in a nice comfortable spot with views of the inside, nice decor. Our group of four, for brunch, ordered bagels and cream cheese, grain bowl, b and a hamburger with cheese, tomato, and home fries. The burger was a bit disappointing with not enough burger. The other food was very good. We also ordered the mimosa flight, which was fun and very good. The wait staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating. They even brought water for our dog!

Very cute light modern industrial restaurant connected to the H hotel. The food while looking a little plain was actually soooo good! We were concerned when the table next to us left most of their food on their plate, but it was good for us!

I ordered the stuffed Frech toast sampler plate with an espresso martini, and my friend ordered the waffles and side of breakfast potatoes with a marg. The waffles and potatoes may look a bit underwhelming, but they were amazing, and the stuffed french toast was really good, with the stuffed strawberry one being my favorite.

The food was phenomenal, and so was my espresso martini but the margaritas we didn't like, and we asked if we could get a mimosa and they exchanged the drink easily. All in all, I will definitely be back.

Okay but I’m not too impressed. The food was okay but a little boring, and I didn’t really have the feeling that the staff cared for the details. The staff felt busy and didn’t seem to have the interest to serve me a great breakfast. If the staff is not engaged, I am not either. A little expensive, too. But perhaps that is just a thing in LA. I’m gonna find another place to eat my breakfast tomorrow!

The venue and decor have so much potential, but unfortunately my experience having lunch at H Cafe was very underwhelming.

Positives:

If you are looking to grab a quick bite, this would potentially be a good option. You can place your food and drinks orders at the table after scanning or QR code; or you can order more traditionally with the server.

I enjoyed the grapefruit mimosa… It tasted like it was made from fresh juice & the ratio of grapefruit juice to Prosecco was spot on.

Negatives:

I wouldn’t come back for several reasons: (1) The table that I was seated at was dirty/had not been cleaned properly - there were still crumbs. (2) my order of french fries had a mixture or thin fries and regular fries… I found that strange. (3) The side of aioli which I ordered (at an extra charge of $1.50) was stone cold… So, I couldn’t really dip the fries into it. (4) The chicken wings were not seasoned well at all. I was hungry but couldn’t eat more than 2 wings. (5) The servers seemed very preoccupied.

I want to start off by saying I had a really nice experience here. There were a couple of things I think could have been better but overall its a great spot and my fiance and I will be coming back!

Things I really liked
-the service. Very active and attentive
-the displays/entrance/decor
-outdoor and indoor seating
-using beef tallow instead of sead oils!
-the food (I had a chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries ($3 surcharge) my fiance had the mushroom burger (normal fries) )

The things I didn't like
-the menu was dirty..
-my glass was brought out dirty..
-i got an iced matcha latte and the matcha was a lil closer to the browner side so it's going to expire soon. I hope they know that ..

I have been to H Cafe quite a few times, and I don't have anything negative to say about any of my visits.

The service was exceptional every single time. The servers always have a smile on their face. The last time I went with a friend, my server was extremely patient with us as we really took our time in ordering.

Literally, everything that I have tried from H Cafe was delicious. I absolutely love their sweet potato fries! I even ordered it during breakfast. Also, if you're not driving, be sure to order the mimosa flight. You won't regret it!
