Super laid back, met the owner and he was really friendly. He gave us recommendations on local places to dine as well as his favorites from their pastry/local jam selections. They buy their pastries from a company that bakes on behalf of US vets, which is also pretty cool. It's a great place to relax. Also they have free wifi, which is great!

I love the coffee, the atmosphere and the whole vibe of the place which is basically about supporting our Vets, our family and our community. I'm from DC so having a local coffee shop was mandatory and though it took awhile to get one here in town the result was perfect. The owner and his wife are all about community giving and have delved into our tiny town with benefits galore. The shop is a great place for coffee and a good excuse to hang out and meet neighbors you might not normally see otherwise, forging new bonds and there are local products for sale both edible and artistic. When people come in, the conversation just starts whether they're visiting or 3rd generation locals. It's an amazing place. Much more than a good cup of coffee or a pumpkin spice latte. There's even a rock wall!

We only stopped in for a cup of java for Driver Mama as we headed out of WV and back to Eastern Shore, MD. But if I lived here, this would be my go-to place. Great vibe. Greater coffee. Loved it.

I'm a local and went to visit today with my boyfriend, it had very unique and comfortable setting which was great for a date. The hot chocolate was the perfect temperature to drink right away, and not overwhelmingly sweet. The guide shack also had great little treats to snack on. Extremely pleased with this cozy little cafe.

Love the fact that you can buy suspended coffee. All that means is you are prepaying for anyone who walks in and asks for a cup of coffee at no charge, homeless, low on funds, no questions asked. Great coffee, great service and tasty baked goods. Highly recommend it.

Very laid back. Come as you are. I've never felt so welcomed and comfortable in a coffee shop before. Everything is from local suppliers. Owners were so friendly. Had a fantastic latte.

As an AT THRU hiker it is wonderful to find a place so accommodating and relaxing. There are loads of books to read, board games to play... a whole table devoted to chess. Their coffee is exquisite, fresh roasts from local sources, and they offer treats, snacks, and even caffeine infused chocolate!
