The Guest House was a beautiful fully restored historic house with several guest rooms. The bath facility was beautifully appointed. The room had a reading nook with a leather couch. If you are staying several days there is ample storage for clothing. We did not spend much time exploring the common areas since we were meeting friends. The only thing I wish I had done differently is to inquire about a first floor room since I have difficulty with stairs. It is within walking distance to a lunch/dinner restaurant, museum and library. I will stay here again without hesitation.

We were in town for an off road rally that was also during the Hinton Water Festival and the Inn was in the perfect spot right in the middle of town. Beautiful property, excellent check in instructions and they provided a great light breakfast. Very close to the national park and the Rosemary room that we stayed in was perfect. Clean, everything you need, fast wifi.

Initially had a good impression because I made a mistake on the address and was able to get in touch with a manager right away who helped make sure I found and got into the right room. We were told we were the only ones in the house that night (there were 3 suites in the house). However, in the morning around 9 am two men loudly entered the building and began punching the codes into each bedroom door for reasons I still don’t know. I am assuming they worked there but don’t understand why they were in an occupied building at that time. They proceeded to open my bedroom door while I was in my pajamas and then apologized and said they didn’t know someone was staying there. There was no way to secure the front door to the house or our bedroom door aside from the keypad, so anyone with a code can enter. I felt so unsafe and violated. I emailed management right away. They offered me a complimentary stay or a partial refund on my recent stay. I chose the partial refund and they never ended up providing it. I emailed again two weeks later and they apologized and said they would process the refund right away. That was over a month ago and I never received any money back. Needless to say I would never go back.

Beautifully appointed and so very spacious, charming, welcoming, and comfortable. The room was large and airy. The light through multiple windows glistened on highly polished wood floors. The large private bath had stunning tile and generous vanity surface. The Inn is conveniently located.

My wife and i were on our anniversary trip. Everything about The Guest House Inn was first class. The property was extremely clean and well run. The quiche that we had for breakfast was the best that we ever had! The town of Hinton was charming. My wife and i are already talking about a return trip and if we do we will stay at The Guest House Inn.

This was one of the cleanest, well appointed, stocked AirBnB’s we have ever stayed at. Became obvious as soon as we stepped in they go the extra mile. Can’t think of a thing I would change. Super easy to book, good recommendations. A+

The Guest House Inn was the perfect place to stay for my weekend in Southern West Virginia! Centrally located in downtown Hinton and surrounded by so many cute shops and restaurants, it's the perfect launchpad for a weekend of adventure and relaxation. We enjoyed the comfort and privacy of our rental, and breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. I can't recommend a stay here enough!

My fiance won a 2 night stay at The Guest House Inn during Railroad Days in Hinton. We live in Beckley, not quite an hour away from the Inn. We decided to use his promotional win stay on the weekend of his birthday, January 13-15 2023. I consider myself to be fairly well traveled, both nationally and internationaly. So when I say that the Inn is BY FAR, the most beautiful and welcoming place that I've ever stayed, please understand that it was up against some pretty hefty competition. From the very first phone call that we made to make our reservations, to the very last call before we left, every single member of their staff was incredibly hospitable, kind and genuinely caring. They left my fiance a small chocolate cake for his birthday, which was such a small but very very kind gesture. We stayed in the Rosemary room and the facilities in the room were absolutely amazing. We had a Jacuzzi tub with a separate shower, a small sitting room with a very comfortable leather couch and beautiful views of downtown Hinton. The kitchen and living room were comfy and cozy. The kitchen is also a kitchen that I would die to have in my house!!! So beautiful and roomy and access to any and every kind of cookware that you would ever need!!! The entire Inn was immaculately clean. I'm just a "little" OCD when it comes to cleaning so when I say it was immaculately clean.....I mean it. We will most certainly be back to stay here at the Guest House Inn. It truly is a hidden gem in little ol Hinton WV!!
