Incredible place far from anything. We first stayed here in a tent on the way to the Kenai peninsula. We liked it so much we stayed in a cabin on the way back. The lake is wonderful - they rent paddle boats or you can use your own. The view of the mountains on a clear day is ridiculously nice.

The tent site is nice and grassy with a covered area in case of bad weather. Showers are paid but they are great.

The cabin might be the best value in Alaska. At the time of our stay it was $110 including a full bath and kitchen and beds for three.

This was our first trip to Alaska, driving the ALCAN & camping. This was our fave campsite by far. So much so that we both agreed we’d want to return and just stay here a few days.||The proprietors are kind, helpful and have created a beautiful space to enjoy. We selected a lakeside campsite (dry/no power) and were enchanted by the wildlife and incredible views of mountains beyond the lovely lake. Muskrat and loon sightings were sweet.||The bathroom was very clean & well-supplied, shower area was comfortable with hooks/chair to deposit belongings, nice hot water and the option of using the provided heat source helped on a chilly morning.||Prices are very reasonable for camping, and there are inexpensive cabin options as well. Most highly recommend!!

Wonderful stay in a spotless and clean small cabin by Grizzly Lake. Cathy, the owner, was personable and professional, seeking to accommodate our needs. A loon family called throughout the night, the showers were hot and bathrooms immaculately clean. Would highly recommend staying here.

This was a great stop on our way to Anchorage. Very quiet and pretty setting. We walked around to the other side of the lake which was an easy walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Their dog Happy is just gorgeous and gives the campground that ‘something extra’ that makes it more memorable. They even have good wifi. The road in is a little small and muddy if it’s rained. Our 27ft RV got in ok but anything bigger could be harder. And we had to reverse from our pull thru spot as the turn was a bit tight to get out forwards.

Peaceful, amazing feel, quiet, hookups are not on the lake, except one site, so the beauty is really on the lake without hookups. Nice couple works hard. Dated facilities but clean! We really liked it. And the same pair of trumpet swans come there every year for the last 20 years. So they must know!

We stayed in this CG with a 34 Feet Motorhome. The site is compact dirt and gravel. Lake side sites are pretty and quiet. There are cabins. We got a flat tire driving Nabeeshna rd on the way to Skookum Volcano Trail and Jim the owner fixed the flat tire for free. Would definitely stay here again.

We pulled up on a Sunday after traveling the Alcan highway, and the lady running the campground was very kind! We only had a small car and we were tent camping. She figured out a spot that worked for us to set up our tent, then directed us to it. The spot worked great and had lovely views of Mt. Sanford! Her dog was super sweet too. Bathrooms were absolutely the best I'd seen anywhere in the united states. Flushing toilets, extremely clean, sinks with stocked handsoap and paper towels! Showers costed $4 extra. They offer boat and paddleboard rentals, which is awesome! It is Alaska in the summer on a lake, so bring bug spray!!!!!
