We live in central Wisconson and often drive through Amherst. We knew this restaurant was here but never tried it until today. We were very happy with our visit.

We arrived around 1pm on a Monday. Restaurant closed at 2pm. They were not very busy. We were seated and offered the full menu.

When looking around the restaurant had numerous items suggesting a Christian ✝️ theme. These values seemed to be reflected in the service we received. Our waitress (Grace) was very professional. At the end of the meal she asked if anyone was military / veteran and gave a discount. (We didn't ask - this was just offered) which was really nice.

The food was good. Everything was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was clean. It was a very nice place to stop for lunch. Staff and owners were all very friendly.

My only regret is I never tried this place before. All of us enjoyed our meals and we'll definitely come again.

Discover the hidden gem of Grits and Graces, a quaint restaurant located in Amherst, just off US Highway 10, which runs east and west across the central part of Wisconsin.

The restaurant was spacious, clean, and bright. The staff were welcoming and attentive from the time we walked in the door. Miranda P. , our bubbly server appeared to enjoy her job. The sausage, falcon French toast, as well as the biscuits and gravy were all delicious. Our coffee cups were never empty. This was a very special experience. We will return.

I've never really heard of a decent restaurant in Amherst. Until today, if your looking for a great place with awesome food I highly recommend you check them out. The service is great as everyone is friendly with a good attitude. The food is great with everything being fresh with great flavor. I came in for lunch and the restaurant was pretty busy but they handle that like a pro. We didn't wait that long from the time we ordered to the time our food came out. Definitely a nice family restaurant with great prices and awesome people.

We stopped by for breakfast after leaving the Iola Car Show. Our waitress was very friendly and very efficient. Drink orders were filled quickly. Our breakfasts all came hot and exactly as ordered. Great place for breakfast. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
