We were booked to stay three nights on a holiday weekend. When we got there we were so disappointed with the chalet that we decided to leave and go back home. The chalet was so small and did not seem clean. We didn't even unpack. We had paid $125 a night in advance. We attempted to get into other resorts nearby, but they were all booked. There was no one around when we decided to go back home, so we just left. They should have seen that the bed was never used and there were no suitcases or clothes in the chalet. We received a bill in the mail for $75 extra for having a dog. There was no mess, in fact we were only at the unit for 30 minutes. We didn't attempt to get a refund because it was a holiday weekend. There are much nicer places in the area, in fact within a mile. My wife looked at the Greer Resort (not to be confused with Greer Mountain Resort) and it looked really nice with luxury cabins. We ate there before leaving for home. We should have gone there! We could not find a review for the place we stayed at. It was just a depressing place. You know how you like something as soon as you walk in the door?, well this wasn't that kind of place. By the way there were cords for a TV, but no TV or phone. There and back took 12 hours of driving. It was a wasted weekend.|

The best was the most comfortable bed Ive ever slept in, including the memory foam mattress we have at home. It is built from real logs, visible inside and out, not faked like many we have seen. We were a bit disappointed that the closest restaurant was closed the first night. But then found one further down the road which had looked like it was only a bar, served food which we enjoyed. We got to eat dinner at the restaurant and the quality of the food there was exceptionable.

Recently spent 2 days in a pet friendly room,my wife booked this trip for us,I was pleasantly surprised at how quant and clean this resort was, we would definitely come back time and time again.The staff was very polite and respectful w all our questions. Thank you for a great time.
