I gave this place a four because the staff was definitely a 5. They were top-notch, beyond pleasant, kind, and helpful. Because of them - I would consider staying there again. The room itself left a little to be desired. There room had a smell to it that I felt like was old smoke from when I’m guessing the room used to allow smoking. But really, get rid of that ancient carpet and do a little updating and there would be no contest on the quality of this place. The bed was comfortable. Everything seemed to work. But because of the odor alone I would give it a three. Thanks to their amazing staff, my review stands at a solid four.

You have a great front desk operator aka person she was respectful loving towards all of us how we will never forget her name helpful always helping also giving us answers to questions we needed even though we arrive with little to no towels she was apologetic the most friendliest, loving caring person since we’ve stayed there in the past you need more people like her not just pushing us off to the side. We love her to death and he will come back just to see her.

It's a good place to stay. Clean and affordable. Nice spacious room perfect for us. Only reason it's not a 5 is there really isn't anywhere to walk your dog. Have to drive to a park. Reception person was efficient- not super friendly but got the job done |We will stay there again

We called before the late as heck 3 PM check in, as instructed, to see if early check in would be available. We were told, "2 PM is the best we can do." Perfect. We arrive from PHX (and hour drive) to this one horse town at 2. We were told nothing would be ready until 3 and was basically accused of lying by the hostile woman at the front desk. We finally check in at 3 and low and behold they give us a room that's still dirty with towels on the floor and the TV still on. We have to go back down to the wonderful check in lady and get a different room.

Very annoyed by this experience because we had a wedding to go to at 4 and felt like we almost intentionally got the run around. There was nothing pleasant about this hotel.

💙♥️ Loved Daniel, loved this place. It’s right next to like a big park, if you bring dogs with you! Laid back place, 24 hour coffee and little store with food and bevs, but the breakfast is SO MUCH. A big breakfast area, had cereal, b & g, waffles, yummy eggs, bagels n cream cheese, muffins, juice. SO GREAT, other h0tels don’t got it like that. I don’t want other people to stay here because I’d like it all to myself, if I ever go back to the city.

Hotel is good but is starting to show its wear. Our room has ripped curtains but was otherwise was nice. Breakfast was pretty good but with limited selection. Parking is tight near entrance. Convenient to downtown Florence.

I would give Green Tree Inn and Suites in Florence, AZ, zero stars if I could. We booked a suite, expecting at least basic cleanliness and amenities. Instead, we were downgraded to a standard room with no explanation or compensation. The room we got was terrible—no carpet, no kitchenette (which we had specifically booked), a horribly uncomfortable bed, a filthy coffee machine, and a room that clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. When we complained, the staff shrugged it off and told us there was "nothing they could do," yet still charged us the full price for the suite. This place doesn’t deserve to be called a "hotel," and it’s laughable they call themselves "suites."

Expedia was no better—they refused to take any meaningful responsibility and offered only some useless credits for future bookings. Avoid this place at all costs. It's not even worth two stars.

I’m very disappointed! I don’t ever leave bad reviews but this time it’s needed. I grew up in Florence and have been coming to see friends there for over 20 years. I have been staying at this hotel ever since it first opened as a holiday inn (wish it still was) I have stayed a few times with this new company, it’s been a while but has always been good. This past Saturday my friend and I stayed and I’m not happy. The front “electric” doors didn’t open or close we had to manually slide them. The girl at the desk was alright she wasn’t mean but you can tell she doesn’t love her job or people being there. The beds in the room were tilted like the foot of the bed was up higher than the head of the bed. Both were the same, so weird. The carpet felt moist like it was just drying (not from being cleaned) thinking it had water damage In the room because of the floor and what looked like new patch work not done very well. If there wasn’t water damage then I have questions. The coffee maker was dirty,
some weird stains on the box springs, don’t want to think about that and to top it all off the beds and pillows sucked. The beds don’t even seem like they belong there. I was so looking forward to the comfortable beds and pillows that use to be there. I’m very sad they were so horrible to sleep on. That’s always my favorite part of the hotels. So I don’t plan on staying there anymore. But on a positive note they don’t have bed bugs we checked. There was noone at the desk when we checked out to let them know. Very sad
