My husband and I stayed two nights here, and we enjoyed everything about our stay. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The bed and linens were excellent, the decor and amenities classic but fresh, and we could hear the waves breaking.||The main building is lovely; and the breakfasts, wine and cheese hours, and the baked goods were welcoming and enjoyable. We had marvelous views of the surf along with otters and shorebirds.||The staff was wonderful, and the location was central to everything in Monterey and Pacific Grove. It was a lovely stay.

A visit to a Four Sisters Inn is always, a treat! We arrived at Green Gables, and were taken immediately up to our beautiful “Chapel Room.” The room was a nice combination of historic and modern comfort. There was a bathroom across the hall, dedicated to this room, and our entire stay we did not encounter another guest when in the hallway. |The view from the window is spectacular, and the two small windows when open allow you to hear the waves from your room. We enjoyed time in the common areas of the house when having wine and appetizers in the afternoon, fresh cookies, and tea in the evening or the nicely prepared breakfast each morning. Directly across the street are stairs that lead to the shoreline trail making for good ways to start or end each day. Staff is wonderful and they make sure you have a good stay.

This is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast location. Romantic, relaxing and a wonderful way to pamper yourself or a loved one. We have stayed here almost yearly and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The light breakfast has always been delicious and the evening wine, cheese and snacks just as good. The exquisite view, visiting deer families, and peaceful evenings make this location extremely appealing and a great place to make memories .

Fabulous combination of a B&B and boutique hotel. Very professionally managed with lovely staff. Loved their refillable glass bottled water (instead of plastic). Breakfast was top notch - the best we’d experienced on our travels. Ivey gave us great tips and offered to make dinner reservations etc. We were able to easily charge our EV in the city lot (.5 miles away). And we walked and walked on the coastal path and into town. I can only hope we can return one day.

We came from Green Gables, sister hotel (Milliken Creek - see my review "Boutique Perfection") so had high hopes we would have a similar experience. How wrong we were. We arrived before check in and the one person on duty was having her lunch and told us to come back in 40 minutes, we couldn't drop our bags or even go to the toilet! The whole hotel is tired, the room was spacious but needs to be updated particularly the bathrooms. Breakfast was poor. Staff were unwelcoming and so different from our experience at Milliken Creek. This was such a disappointment given our previous experience at Milliken Creek. The hotel is in a tremendous location overlooking Monterey bay. It could have so much to offer but urgently requires investment and a change in management to fulfil it’s potential.

Stunning B&B that showed what a great stay experience should be. Located right on front street, you can hear the serene waves all evening and morning. Cookies, charcuterie and wine in the afternoon hit the spot, while breakfast was well done. The team went above and beyond when it was possible and we will be back!

Beautiful old B&B in a stunning location. Seals with their pups barked on the beach in front of the inn, a short walk took you to the boardwalk where you could have fresh clam chowder, tour the aquarium, and collect souvenirs.

The rooms were very spacious and very reasonably priced. Complementary wine, cheese, and delicious handmade breakfasts were all available to us each day of our stay!

10/10 highly recommend and would stay again!

Fantastic experience due to the beautiful setting, gorgeous views, the luxurious room with wonderful sheets, comfortable bed, and great amenities coupled with the staff friendliness and excellent customer service made for a great stay. We loved the happy hour treats and wine. And fun bicycle ride on the adjacent path was just icing on the cake. We'll be back!
